Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

A very nice hotel, well situated to Roma Termini train station. Close to good restaurants, amenities like a laundromat and not a far walk from some great sites. We have come and gone 4 times from there this trip and they have kindly looked after our luggage for days at a time. Nice breakfast

AustraliaThis is my third time here and it has never happened before but I ate breakfast in someone's living room. Not a hassle but not ideal. No other complaints

United States of AmericaShower area is a little bit tight.
Very close to train station, 3-4 minutes to station by foot. A little bit noisy and chaos outside but it is durable. It was very nice that they offer a free breakfast and luggage service!

AustraliaCan't think of anything really. The elevator is a bit old but that was not a problem
Very well situated. I picked it for its proximity to Roma Termini station and it was very close. Very good breakfast. Very nice staff. Hit water pressure was good for an older hotel. Will definitely be back

Maltarooms are slightly outdated, and the lift occassionally didn't work because one would need to close the elevator door upon exit, as it does not close automatically which consequently would stop the elevator from working
Excellent location right next to Termini train station, room was just what we needed for our short stay. all floors are accessible with lift

MaltaBreakfast could be a bit better, not seeing italian. Missing a bit of parma ham and burrata cheese just to feel italian taste in the hotel.
Perfect location, two streets from Roma Termini- metro, trains, buses 3 mins away from the hotel. The room was a bit smaller, but clean and tidy with a street view - absolutely gorgeous. Receptionists are so welcome and kind.

United KingdomThe only things I could fault is that the decor of the hotel could be described as a little traditional and could do with some touching up in places and the rooms were not too sound proof, you could hear people in the corridors so if you're a light sleeper this might be a problem but after all the walking we did in Rome, we seemed to sleep through most of it and only heard it when people were going to breakfast in the mornings. The breakfast is a little limited. It is a traditional Italian breakfast meaning that there is a choice of pastries, croissants, cereal, yoghurts, bread, boiled eggs, cheese and meats as well as juices but nothing hot. Not that this was an issue for us since it was enough to give us something to fill our bellies until lunch. What I really appreciated though was the barista coffee so I could get a freshly made cappuccino or caffe latte every morning.
The staff on reception are really friendly and very helpful. I absolutely cannot fault them and had so many little chats and laughs with them when coming and going from the hotel. The staff in the breakfast room are also very friendly and keep the breakfast buffet topped up and there's a barista making fresh coffee to order when requested. The cleaning staff work hard, the room was cleaned and made up daily, the bins changed and supplied clean towels every day too. The facilities inside the room had everything we needed for our stay with a TV, large ensuite bathroom and even a small fridge which came in handy. The hotel is situated in an excellent location, two minutes walk away from the main Termini (train) station and also has direct buses to both of the airports. It was also a 25-30 minute walk to the major tourist sights including the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, etc. we joked to say that Rome feels like it's always a 25 minute walk but if you prefer to get the Metro to save your legs, there is a station located at Termini. One of the things I really liked was the old fashioned elevator inside the hotel, it was a novelty to see and welcomed after a long walk around Rome. There is also a locked storage area in the hotel if you need somewhere to keep your bags safe after check out but have a late flight, we made use of it and would recommend it if needed.
