Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

UkraineThe meal plan is not well organized. Breakfasts start at 8 am. It is too late because the lifts are turned on at 8:30 with the huge crowd. To benefit from the hotel location and to use the fresh slope it’s necessary either to ski before the breakfast or to be without it. Breakfast is great, but without veggies. During the day kitchen works before 2:30, so if you return from the slope later, you can expect just for a sandwich for lunch. Dinners start also too late at 7:45. They consist of the predominantly planed 5 course, which could be brought during 2 hours. All dishes are tasty, but we would not eat do much. You don’t have alternatives because the hotel is on the slope and the last lift departure at 7 pm.
The hotel is well equipped and located directly on the slope. The quality of sleep was the best.

United KingdomDiners were centred around on red meat. It would be nice to have more fish, chicken or even a vegetarian dish!
Staff were friendly, helpful & hard working. Some waiters were young & inexperienced but they tried to help & were always smiling which made up for their obvious lack of experience.

AustraliaThe staff were inexperienced but did try. They ran out of tonic water more than once. The evening meals were weird- not a vegetable to be seen, and all courses had too much salt except the desserts which were nice. After about 45 minutes at breakfast they turned the music up to LOUD seemingly to get rid of us.
Great views. Difficult to get to as Sochers is only accessed by gondola, and impossible before 8am or after 7pm, and no information on arrival at the gondola to tell us how to access it.

United KingdomClearer instructions on how to access the hotel.
The location is amazing as you can ski in and out and get onto the Sella Ronda within one chair lift. However, it wasn't clear when I made the booking to park in St Christina and take the Saslong cable car up so went to the wrong town first. Once you're at the hotel, the staff make you feel very welcome and looked after. The hotel is very charming, the food was good and and the spa the icing on the cake!

United KingdomWe felt we were an inconvenience to have around. The hotel initially refused to serve us their lovely mountain water with our meals, insisting we bought bottled water all the time. Very few staff and as a result it was difficult to get a drink in the evenings at their extremely quiet bar (keep in mind you're half way up the mountain with no other options). Getting additional pillows proved to be a huge effort as did our checkout a day early (due to an 11am flight and being at the mercy of the Sasslong cable car, we had to leave a day early to work timings) - we were initially told we could not use our room after our last morning skiing even though we had paid to have it for another full day as no one would be around for a mid day checkout! Little things like no shampoo/conditioner in rooms and no loo facilities downstairs, not even in the restaurant didn't help. All guests were told we had to use the loos in our designated bedrooms - we were on the 3rd floor, the restaurant is on ground level. The Hotel was obviously once quite magnificent but sadly the small things really let it down during our stay.
The food at the hotel was good and the very few staff that were around worked hard although with few smiles!

ItalyStrange decision re. the split of Saslong slope in two: crossing it twice during its lenght and a painful transfer do make it dangerous and excruciating. Extras are extremely expensive (water bottle: 5EUR / espresso: 4EUR just to name a few). No control on guest behaviour in the spa area: it can easily become a tiny place where anarchy reigns. Too little veggies and fruits for dinner. Wine menu a bit poor.
Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable restaurant/breakfast area. Wide hall to relax reading a book or playing snooker. Cozy spa. Great location for expert skiers. On average good food.
