Location was incorrect (problem with address on ad/map) but prompt reply from staff brought us to the right location, only half a block away (the numbering system is a little funny on that block - not the staffs fault). AC was very weak our first two nights, so it was uncomfortably hot to sleep (over 35C outside during day, kept curtains closed, etc.), but by the third night they fixed it properly and bright us a little fan, so it was much better.

Good location, close to central station, central market, transit and old town center. Easy instructions to access building (once proper location found). Staff were very prompt in replying to messages. Daily housekeeping (not necessary, but thoughtful). Supplied shampoo, toothbrush, etc in room, water machine in lobby. Spacious room, quiet, overlooking little garden.

The early morning chatting in the lobby woke us up. The structure setup allowed for the noise to carry out easily. Very tiny shower. No elevator, so if you have heavy luggage, it can be a bit challenging.

We had a good stay at Soggiorno, and the location was good. The staff was really helpful and attentive. They suggested a good tour for us to do outside of Florence.

Nothing, all aspects of the stay exceeded expectations.

Great central location made for easy access from Firenze Santa Maria Novella, while still being central enough to stroll in and out of the centre in a few minutes. Reception staff were very friendly, and accommodating to our delayed check-in time. Very clean and comfortable room, with great air conditioning. Would absolutely recommend for a budget friendly, authentic stay in Florence.

The location is not in the best area and we didn’t feel safe walking around at night so would recommend something closer to the duomo if you want to feel a little safer with more people around

Accommodation was nice and within a few meters from the Mercato Centerale which is a very awesome place to visit, it’s full of different vendors and amazing food!

The room suited me perfectly. There were facilities for making tea and coffee (with a couple of herbal tea bags), and the air conditioning was really need as it was a very hot few days. Great location for reaching all the sites I wanted to see. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The staff here were amazing! I had to change hotels last minute. When I arrived to this hotel I was instantly welcomed and the care that they put in towards myself and all customers was exceptional. My room was ready upon arrival in the morning so I was able to go straight in and make myself comfortable. And when I needed to have a train ticket printed without question they printed it for me. Cannot recommend enough and so amazingly thankful for their help and going above and beyond.

The room was a bit small and the sink was inside the room and not on the bathroom, but we made it work. There were no hooks on the bathroom for the towels The shower didn't have a lot of water pressure.

Air conditioning worked great. The hosts were very helpful. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable. Overall everything was good and we would return.

My friend and I were very satisfied with this stay – it was truly the perfect ending to our trip to Florence! Communication was smooth and responses were quick. The room was well-equipped with disposable toothbrushes and slippers, which was a thoughtful touch. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and we were even able to store our luggage after check-out. Highly recommended!

The sidewalks in Florence are narrow and in bad shape especially when walking with luggage. Compared to Rome, the streets and sidewalks with very dirty with alot of litter. I wonder why Florence does not clean like Rome does. Several areas of construction where they were working on the sewer lines for the neighborhood smelled realty bad of raw sewage. The workers should cap and seal at the end of every work day. The street is confusing. The address listed, you get to it, and it is the black section. You need to go the the address in the red section of the street. For a visitor this needs to be made clear.

Great location and close to the Duomo and the main tourist attractions. There’s a coffee machine in the common area and a kettle and a TV with Netflix in the room. I had a private room and thought it was very comfortable! Happy with this place and would likely stay here again.

Located conveniently close to the Mercato Centrale and the Santa Maria Novella train station. All the other sites are within 1km walking distance. The neighbourhood is also quite quiet.
