Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

On entrance there was lot of rubbish to be disposed of including mattresses. Also no espresso machine in my room whereas my other 3 friends had. The bar also isn't always opened not even for water or soft drinks

The air conditioner wasn't working so we had to sleep with the window open, which lead to waking up very early when the street got noisy. It's pretty complicated to get hot water in the bath, you'll have to play with the controls for a while. Construction noises from the street in the mornings (it was only a problem because we had to sleep with the window open, when the window is closed it's pretty much sound proof).
All of the staff members that we interacted with was extremely nice and attendive. The location is perfect, right next to everything. The bath is very fun and there is a big shower right next to it.

The shower needs updating, was very hard to get it to stay on a certain temperature and stay on the correct shower head.

The air con in the room didn't seem to work very well. It was very warm the whole time and we travelled in spring. Our room was on a busy street which meant we couldn't really air the room that way. It was a small thing but might be more difficult in the summer. Our room was relatively new so might just be a teething problem too. Also worth noting we didn't highlight this to staff so maybe that might have helped.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, I could not speak more highly of them. Keep up the great work! The location of the hotel is also excellent near a number of attractions and very near the metro too. Beds were comfy and room was clean so couldn't ask for more there

There were few functional lacks in the room, for instance: no shelf in the shower for bottles of shampoos and soaps. I had to put them on the floor. Few hooks in the bathroom. Noisy street if you wish to leave the window opened.
We got the upgraded room which was newly furnished and designed. The location was just perfect - all the Rome's attractions in the walking distance. The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful, especially Orit.

Grate costumer care and the rooms were of good size and plenty if soace. Hotel was situated within short walking distance to all the torist attractions and there were plenty of restaurants close by also.

internet was slow and irregular

Done with a bath in suite as well as shower and milk/ cream sachet for coffee machine.
Location was great, hotel staff helpful and happy, hotel clean and good evening entertainment and cocktails were amazing! Great stay! Stayed in a suite, comfortable, quiet and clean, few little bit needed updating or repaired, very minor though.
