The lift is very awkward to get in and out (especially with luggage) due to the building structure, but it’s an old traditional system, so it’s understandable

Great location, everything is close by, walking distance to main landmarks and the historic centre of Florence. The rooms’ decor is impressive, the building itself is grand.

We had to change rooms after one night, as they were going to remove the jacuzzi and change it to a normal shower. The noises of drilling was not so nice to here but we were away most of the mornings. Something which happened only during the reformation of the room.

Staff was always willing to help. Room is beautiful with luxury furniture and a amazing jacuzzi to top it off. We had views towards the duomo as it was the suite. Very clean and very comfortable bed.

It was very hot in the room. Couldn’t open the window because of the smell from the below take away (not b&b fault). Breakfast not on site (which was not a problem). We couldn’t find it at the beginning so went 20min to the end of service. Staff started to clear food while we were eating. Turned of the toaster while my daughter toast was still in it.

Location is amazing. Staff very friendly (not in breakfast area though). Room was beautiful! Attention to details in every corner! One of the best B&Bs We have ever stayed. Enjoyed it very much. It’s an experience not only the stay.

States a city view but this was not so….just roof tops and if you strain you can see the tower! Couldn’t get the TV to work in English Thought it a bit on the pricey side for the size of the room and with no view or terrace/balcony The hot tub was only a jet bath in the en-suite and not a hot tub

Very good position for shopping and sightseeing : thought it would be noisy but it was very soundproofed. Lovely comfortable room and nice en-suite (see below re bathroom)

Lift was very small. But very grateful they had a lift in such a beautiful old building.

Breakfast was a little tricky as you had a three minute walk to another place but after the first morning it was easy.

I liked everything. I couldn’t get the Tub to drain but we only stayed one night so it didn’t affect our stay.

The location was superb. In the middle of the centre. The hotel was fabulous, great, luxury room and amazing friendly hotel people. Never experienced such a prize/quality combination. Really worth staying. Just superb!

The only thing that was an issue was the air conditioning hitting my face all night. I woke up a little stuffy but I ended up sleeping with my head opposite (head were my feet would normally be) the rest of my trip and I was fine.

Had hot water issues one morning, but they were quickly resolved.

Attentive and accommodating hosts. Charming room with a view of the Duomo Belltower. Great breakfast nearby, and plenty of snacks restocked in the room. Daily cleaning, with laundry service available. Excellent location, we were able to walk to all of our activities in Florence.
