Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt’s 4 stars but really should be 3 stars if we were to base on service. The staff weren’t rude but they weren’t really attentive either. Not what you would normally expect from a 4 star hotel. For example, when we arrived they didn’t help us with our bags (no porter), we had two disabled people with us and their accessibility wasn’t really accessible. In sharp contrast the next hotel we went to which was 4 stars as well came to meet us at the door, took our bags to the rooms, gave us early check in and whenever they could see anyone struggling rushed to help.. a good morning or good afternoon always sounding out. Not the case here.. the staff seem sort of there to simply man the desk, give you your key and then check you out when you’re finished. Breakfast had someone there who was on her phone the whole time, didn’t even say hello. The only exception was the cleaner who was lovely and very apologetic that our room was late due to her cleaning.
The rooms are beautiful and very spacious. We had three rooms booked in total and each had its own cute characteristic and all very spacious and clean. Didnt use spa facilities so no idea if any good. We only stayed here one night as an interim to catching the ferry.

United KingdomGeneral condition of the room would benefit from updating and some appliances replacing (e.g. fridge was very noisy).
Great area within minutes walk to local station, the port and main square. The room was a good size and had everything you needed. Lovely view of the sea and macellum from the room. Warm welcome at breakfast from staff, lovely view from the breakfast terrace. Opportunity for late checkout.

United StatesBreakfast was ok. Amazing view though. The AC in the room that we stayed in was in the living room and so the bedroom felt super warm always even though we had left the AC on. The room had a small kitchen with a functional stove, microwave etc but no utensils or vessels. Would have been nice to have some spoons, a bowl, some plates and cups if you would like the guests to avail the kitchen facility.
The staff were friendly. The location was convenient. The rooms were extremely spacious Almost like an entire apartment. Housekeeping was great

GermanyA cheap and small chinese TV in the main entrance, none in the bedrooms. The bed was uncomfortable. The breakfast was poor, some mini croissant overcooked and not to many options. Overall the facility would be great, but all repairs are done in economy, some cracks on the walls here and there in the rooms, plaster on bathroom tiles... Could have reported this all, but being basics they should not require explanations, only good will. The hotel was fully booked therefore some more attention and pride from the owner it would be really appreciated. A lot of potential...
Position and view on the port/sea. Room size The hotel staff is welcoming and available The nearby restaurant are amazing, Putipù and il Rudere.

EstoniaI don't remember ever being in a 4* hotel without kettle, tea & coffee in the room. Window leaking with heavy rain and the staff cleaned it with towel which was left under the window for 2 days.
Room with spectacular view, high ceilings, spacious, etc. Baby cot was lovely. Very clean.

Portugal-Wifi was non-existent. I could connect but there was no bandwidth for normal browsing on phone/tablet let alone a VPN for my work account on PC. -Parking. Yes they have but you need to be brave. It is not by the hotel entrance but on a small street around the corner and behind the hotel. But it is tight to get into and exit. I was on 3 wheels at some points trying to exit - according to my colleague spotter. In the end it all worked but I could see someone more timid than me having issues. -AC unit did not work well for the 1st day and then failed on the 2nd day. It was eventually fixed. -Breakfast was basic and late each morning. We needed to be on the road early each day so arrived at the advertised opening time but things were not really ready. -My bed was very hard and pillows were very thin. But my colleague said his bed was super comfortable... so maybe just my room...
Location of hotel is easy to get to and a short walk to a lot of entertainment in the area. Staff was very helpful and friendly. View from my room included a little of the archaeological site 'Temple of Serapis' and the bay of Pozzuoli - so very nice.

Germanythe terrace on the roof is nice, but they didn’t use it (no bar or anything…) our air conditioning in the main room didn’t work (it made noises and pretended to work, but the room just didn’t cool.) this was especially annoying because we used the pool and afterwards the air was really hot and damp. the windows open into the house, so either you have daylight but everyone can look through the windows or it is complete dark when you shut the lids. the Wi-Fi was real slow and didn’t work at all in the bedroom. the breakfast was Italian standard, lots of sweets. but the coffee was bad and I seriously don’t see the point of serving cereals if you don’t even put bowls and milk on the table. (we had the same in other places) all in all it was okay, but they could do better.
the pool in our suite was nice and I liked, Tag that the bed was in an extra room. there was an enclosed parking lot for the hotel just around the house. compared to other places we stayed at, the price-performance ratio was good.

SwedenSeveral things were disappointing. The woman preparing coffee in the breakfast area was quite unfriendly, which made for an unpleasant start to the day. My room wasn’t cleaned for two days, which was frustrating—coming back tired to a messy, stuffy room is not what you'd expect. The hotel entrance also felt uncomfortably warm, with no apparent ventilation or air conditioning. Lastly, the room had no view at all, which was a letdown.
The room was spacious and the jacuzzi was a great touch, really relaxing after a long day.

ItalyNothing bad.
It’s an old building perfectly refurbished, with very big rooms, almost suite, quiet and comfortable. Good breakfast. The hotel is over very ancient roman pools that is possible to see from a room underground with transparent floor. Just ask to the lady at breakfast. It’s an experience itself: only guest can visit the ancient roman ruins underground. Another experience is to have breakfast in a spectacular balcony with a wonderful wiew of the full Pozzuoli gulf as well as the “macellum “ roman ruins. Very amazing experiences.

GermanyI get that this is a thermal hotel, but I had to air the room for two hours so that the humidity in the air would be bearable. The room was huge, but the facility was very old, the bed was not comfortable and cleanliness was not OK. Breakfast also was not good, beside the coffee that tasted quite good.
The view of the restaurant.
