It is on the beachfront road and the heavy traffic was constant from 5am onwards…I think the host is aware that a couple of repairs were needing to be done (could not close balcony door and the sink faucet needs replacement and some of the kitchen electrical outlets need replacing and the gas burners also. But… nothing too major).

It’s across the road from the rock beach which was ideal for snorkelling …. And walking distance to the train station also, and beachfront restaurants shops etc. best of all though was… The view, the view, the view… and the host was very accommodating too!

The apartment is old and needs a renovation. It is on the 2nd floor and need to take around 20 steps up, not convenient for taking luggages. It is a bit noisy even during the night as it is located just on a busy road.

Location is good, close to Taormina. Parking is convenient. Sea view and sunshine in the morning is fantastic.

Being in a more residential area, the flat is a bit far from the main beaches and restaurants and bars. Not too much of a problem if you don't mind a walk. Or you could jump on a bus going up to Taormina or to the beaches from the road behind as the roads are one way only. It could be considered a pro being away from the main strip by some too! The road is very busy and a bit noisy with traffic. The flat is on the 1st floor with a narrow staircase and no lift. Be prepared for this with heavy luggage or mobility issues. The flat is a little 'tired', it could do with a little renovation. A fresh coat of paint, lamps that can actually plug in the wall from the bedside table. The main room has a big wardrobe but is pretty useless without a hanging rail. My friend occupied the smaller room, she said the mattress was very uncomfortable and springy. The bathroom was fairly adequate with a nice shower however no shower door so the floor got wet. It could also do with a towel rail (one hanging over the bidet isn't ideal) A few complimentary tea, coffee and sugars would also be appreciated. Small things that need not be costly would make a very big difference.

This apartment is in a fantastic location. The sea is across the road. The view is spectacular. We had crazy weather with stormy seas but the sound of crashing waves was lovely . 10 mins walk from the train station and close to the bus stops and routes. There are a few restaurants and a bar/bakery and little shops nearby for necessities. Alex, our welcoming rep was very attentive, having texted me a few days before arrival. Although we were not able to check in early having left our other accommodation in Catania, due to cleaning still required, Alex met us at the flat, welcomed us and allowed us to leave our bags and get changed. Alex was brilliant telling us all we needed to know about the flat and the local area, even going on to send me recommendations for restaurants in Tarormina. His support and hospitality was excellent.

We were replaced in similar apartment but unfortunately we had no wifi there. Also the owner was slow to react on our questions on parking possibilities.

The view. Its amazing. The owner is a friendly guy and the apartment clean. Be sure to enjoy the rising sun there, spend some time on the balcony!

There was no running water for 24 hours and we didn’t get the apartment what we booked. When we complained about the issue, we were sent a video how to fix the problem on out own. Than we still had to wait for quite some time for warm water to heat.

Disappointing – old and dirty accommodation. A complete RENOVATION is HIGHLY NEEEDED: old and damaged furniture, old facilities, DIRTY walls in rooms. The mattress was very uncomfortable, awfully soft and springy. Hard and uncomfortable cushion. Balcony curtains were stained. Dust everywhere. The bedsheets and towels didn´t smell fresh (unpleasant “cheap” aroma). The road in front of the balcony is very busy and noisy - constant noise of traffic. It was a bad experience to stay there. The accommodation photos don't match reality!!! except for Seaview 😊

The apartment is in an awful shape, it needs complete renovation. From the moment we walked in we felt the smell of mold. The furniture is in very bad condition: wardrobes broken, the lamp above the bed was unscrewed, the door from the balcony didn’t stay closed, same with the door from the bedroom. There was mold in the shower, the apartment wasn’t cleaned properly, there was dust everywhere, the walls were dirty all over the apartment, the towels and the bedsheets were stained. It was a disgusting experience and we had to stay there with a baby. It’s a steal considering how much money we paid to live in mold and dirt! 1000€ for 5 nights in dirt and anytime the lamp could fell on us. Please don’t stay here and check the photos i attached because their photos have nothing to do with the reality.

The apartment was at 1st stage at the end of a narrow and steepy stair, and we took our luggage by our self. There were few parking spot near the apartment.

The loaction was very good, the apartment was in front of the sea and there were lot of nice restaurants just few minutes by car. The host was very kind and helpful with our needs. The apartment was cozy with two comfortable bedroom, one kitchen, and a good bathroom. The bedrooms had a very nice view on the sea.

The glass doors didn’t lock, the dishes were dirty from the previous guests, the kitchen chairs were very loose and I felt like it would fall apart. We left early due to these items.

The location would have been great if Mount Etna had not been active. It was close to the ocean and the views were still lovely in the morning.

Rarely gave bad reviews but the sliding doesn’t close properly and it’s on a busy road so we can hear sirens very often and could not sleep well.

Family of 4 in July for supposedly 5 nights but stayed 2 nights! Never met the host although he said he was coming to see us 2 times ! Main reason of big disappointment is NO HOT WATER ! The tank was broken when we arrived and was never told. I told the host that this needs to be repaired, he sent a lady at the 2nd day that came from the beach to try and see what was wrong. It ended up that we wouldn't have hot water during our stay! I refused to take cold showers for 6 days. The washing machine did not work! I was planning on using it knowing that I booked a place on purpose with a Washing machine because I was travelling for 3 weeks in Italy and packed light !! The wardrobes are useless since there is no pole to hang your clothes nor shelf. The place needs a LOT of TLC, has a lot of potential. Please put light bulbs where the fixtures are, it's missing a shower door , all the water comes out ! The beds are really uncomfortable and thin mattresses, pillows are hard like a rock ! We didn't sleep . The place is on the 1st floor with narrow stairs on a MAIN Street ( 1 way) VERY VERY noisy ! WE didn't sleep for the 2 nights , I couldn't wait to get the hell out of there! Imagine looking for a place to stay in July, busy season not knowing if I was going to get a refund . The host agreed to give me a refund of the days that I didn't stay there. I honestly think that I should have had a Total refund of my 6 days since IT WAS NOT what I paid for. I did get my refund through Bookings the day that I called when I arrived home. Thank you so much Bookings. This never never happened to me before ! The host ( Dario) suggested me to stay in his other place, as if I would! I found a beautiful, brand new apartment and cheaper !

It’s listed with a car park but unfortunately their car park is 500 m away and hard to locate. We booked this place only because the car park was included but need paying the street parking (if you are lucky to find one!). Place was clean but tired looking.

Great location at the beach, very clean and owners communicative. Village is not the best looking, overpriced for what it is.

The walls are dirty, in one of the rooms the chandelier on the ceiling does not work and we had to use only two small lamps, which did not light enough at night. I reported this, but it was not fixed during the 8 days. During the 8 days, we were only given a roll of toilet paper, and the bedding was never changed. Even if there is a washing machine in the apartment, you could not wash your bedding, because it would not dry on the same day. The kitchen sink and the bidet were dripping since we arrived. I also announced this and until we were actually flooded from the sink, the owner did not send anyone to do the repair. The two wardrobes in the rooms are also broken, there is a risk that the back will completely fall apart. There are several restaurants nearby, but the offer is limited, and between 2 and 6 pm they are closed, so if you are hungry and want to eat during this interval, you will not have anywhere nearby. It is a lot of noise from the street.
