Very hilly so be careful if you have restricted mobility. Check if there are any other events going on nearby at the time of your stay, as we found getting a taxi difficult . You need a swimming hat yo go into the spa & the staff can be a bit rude,

At the time of our stay, the hotel restaurant and bar were closed & you have to pay additional 15 eur/pers/day if you wanted to use the swimming pool (as it is part of the spa balnea next to the hotel). A balcony at the room would be very nice but no room is equipped with a balcony. hotel Terme Salvarola is a transient hotel - 99% of the guests leave after one night.

The staff was very professional although some only spoke Italian. The room was very clean and nice. Breakfast bar was full of choices.

I have made several reviews of this hotel. Is a lovely hotel surrounded by green. It has a wonderful spa next to it that makes it even nicer. Unfortunately at my last stay I was disappointed. I arrived on a really hot day after a long trip. I enter the room and it was very hot. I tried to switch on the a/c but it was not working. I asked the hotel stuff to turn it on but they told ma that there was a broken and they couldn’t. So, I could not rest in the evening and I was really tired. Even at night I had to sleep very late at night when the windows of the room cooled down little bit the room. This is not acceptable from a 4 star hotel! I have been visiting this hotel over years and I want to continue doing this.

Breakfast is nice, croissants are excellent. The room was clean and cosy, the only thing that could be improved is the shower that could be cleaner. Thr bed was very big which was great considering we were travelling with a toddler who slept with us. The hotel is surrounded by pines and it’s outside the city so it was quiet and calm

No evening meals, and when our family tried to use the pool they tried to charge £80.00 for three children and one adult. W e thought that was very expensive for the family for just an hour or two, so they didn’t use the facility.

The hotel is in a very quiet location, some distance from Sassuolo if you do not have transport. It would help if the kitchen was open for evening meals. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good.

unfortunately restaurant and bar was closed, so no option to eat something in the hotel. and as we’ve arrived late, it wasn’t very convenient

The purpose of our trip was to visit Ferrari museums in Modena and Maranello, and for sure we wanted to combine it with some relax. the hotel located in a wonderful place, like in the forest right near the Termes, so we spent a whole day there as well. swimming pools, saunas,..everything is very clean. The hotel is located a bit far from the city, so to get to any restaurant was a bit challenging . there’s also a parking, so for those who’re traveling by car, it’s a big advantage

there were a few flaws…the hotel is a bit run down … but in light of all the recent events it is understandable…hopefully they will be able to complete upgrades in order to truly call themselves a four star hotel. but none of this prevented us from thoroughly enjoying our stay!
