We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

SwitzerlandYou can get lost along the passageways as it is such a large hotel. The rooms air conditioning didn't work, it was so hot in the room (beginning of April), that we needed a fan. I'd be quite concerned about staying in the July / August heat. Just sheets and raw blankets on the bed which is a little disappointing for the cost. No kettle, tea, coffee or cups. We were able to order hot water though. Most hotel guests were American, so little diversity in clientele. Tiles coming off in pool also added to the general wear and tear feel.
The hotel has a stunning entrance and grand interior. The rooms were tastefully furnished with regal wallpaper and a chandelier. You can definitely feel this hotel would have been grand in its hay day. Breakfast met expectation. Nice to have the small pool and sauna option.

THe hotel staff were incredible, however, the hotel itself is lacking something. It is exceptionally overpriced for what it is. I paid over £500 per night, and I would only rate it a 3* for style, facilities and location.

NetherlandsOne of the room I reserved had a very suspicious entrance of a housekeeping employee. Also a scarf disappeared of the room. The sauna and steam rooms were closed.
I liked the helpfulness of the staff, the tidiness and space of the rooms. The fact that the gym is open 24/7. And that breakfast was offered to the room on Sunday to keep it extra cozy.

United KingdomI thought the cleaning in the room wasnt up to standard. There were bit of fluff etc on the carpet that wasnt hoovered up on several days. The restaurant for evening meal had a veery boring and limited menu
Good central location in Rome. Rome was large and nice and quiet. Bed very comfortable with good sheets. Complimentary coffee in room first thing. Breakfast service was good with enough choice for western tastes but not for Asian visitors. Very helpful concierge service
