Really convenient location from Porta Nuova station. I needed a place to sleep for one night and the room was great value for money. Clean and comfortable, really quiet even though there’s a restaurant just downstairs. The room is a bit basic but still has everything one would need!

I came back here for the second time and found the same comfort given by the facilities and cleanliness of this place. I also found Vincenzo, just as kind and attentive to the needs of tourists. We heartily recommend this place! You will be close to all the points of interest of the city (Porta Nova train station, the historic center with all the tourist attractions). And a restaurant with delicious food and unbeatable prices is right across the street.

the only thing I didn't like this time was that there were some what looked like odd light switches in the bathroom and a pullcord in the shower that I thought was to turn on the hot water. turns out they all set off an alarm. I didn't know this so of course disrupted things not realising when I took a shower or turned on the lights I was setting off an alarm. Once I knew, no big deal but probably an idea to point out at check in - particularly as the one that looked like a lightswitch is exactly where you'd look for it (I had to remember to not use it).

I have stayed at Torino 1854 Affittacamere before and the same things I appreciated last time still apply - convenient location near Porta Nuova, quiet, clean and very comfortable. Excellent value for money. Lift/elevator to help with luggage. Very secure. Great cafe literally just outside the door and a small supermercato/alimentari across the street nearby. I would not hesitate to stay again.

It is a hostel type of set up with minimum facility, The doors of the shower place were nearly falling apart, so ones have to be very carefully when you moved the doors. The blow dryer is very old too.

The owner and his daughter were very friendly and welcoming. I arrived alot earlier than the check-in time but this was accommodated by the owner and his daughter who let me leave my bag and come back once the room was ready. My room was an excellent size and the bathroom was huge! Very quiet street and close to everything (15min walk max) to the town centre and sites. Would very much recommend this stay to any solo travellers or those who are only staying for a few days.

The property was in an excellent location … on the edge of the city centre and 10 minutes walk from Porta Nuove train station. It was very clean and comfortable, and within metres were a caffe/ bar, supermarket and restaurants, and we walked all over the city from the accommodation . Best of all we’re the staff who were very friendly and accommodating. Thoroughly recommended.
