Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaRoom decor needs refresh, new paint, beds hard, frig as provided did not work well, linens were old, terrace cleanup. $$$$ charge for a porter service. I wish they provided a taxi service just within the town itself.
Location was nice. Balcony views lovely and they provided a very nice breakfast. Front staff were lovely and very helpful.

New ZealandNo restaurant on site- we assumed there was based on the photo of the outside table made up at night, but there are plenty of other amazing food options around!
Stunning views from the hotel, loved relaxing on the solarium and the private steps to the sea was amazing. Had some of the best swims down there (be sure to swim to the left around the cliff a bit to see an epic grotto/cave!). Staff were nice and the room was good (basic and a little outdated but all we needed). Great location on the main road linking the towns of the coast, highly recommend hiring a scooter to get around but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel too which is great (can be very packed in summer with no room though). Only about a 25 min scooter ride to Amalfi in one direction or the same to Positano in the other direction. There is also a little beach with beach clubs and restaurants about a 10 min walk away. Buffet breakfast was great with stunning views.

United KingdomFurniture in the room was a little basic and dated, but adequate for our stay.
Room was spacious with the patio providing an excellent sea view. Staff were very pleasant and helpful and the hotel was well situated for exploring neighbouring town. Local seafood restaurants were also of a very high standard, as was the quality of the morning breakfast. Would certainly return.

UkraineThe breakfasts were not very diverse. Mostly predominated pastries, croissants, cakes and tarts. And almost no salads, vegetables and fruits. But as I understood it is typical for almost all Italian hotels: they prefer to offer all types of sweet and pleasant desserts and almost no fresh salads or vegetables. So it’s not the fault of this hotel. We’d prefer our rooms to be cleaned more thoroughly and oftener.
We liked the hotel. The location is great with picturesque views and is very close to the beautiful beach Marina di Praia. The breakfast were not very diverse, more typical ones. The maids didn’t clean the rooms thoroughly and didn’t changed anything including gels or linens. But probably it was not planned. The receptionist and other staff were very friendly and helpful. Our overall opinion is that the hotel is nice and we would recommend it for a week’s stay.

AustraliaQuiet and our large patio overlooking the beautiful coast.
For Amalfi Coast steps were not an issue here. Nice Private beach,. If you are not reasonably fit, do not go to the Amalfi coast! We have been to the Amalfi Coast for the past 25 years, 3-5 star hotels. We Always used Sita buses in the past, nowadays too many tourists. Buses packed & drive past. Get up early if you are going to visit villages. Water Taxis worth the extra coast.

United States of AmericaThe staff consistently went above and beyond to help us. Whether it be setting up transportation, helping with dinner reservations and all the in between. The location was amazing. The view from the deck area/dining area was stunning. The breakfast was delicious and a consistently great way to start the day. The hotel was just a step away from the bus stop to get to all of the other Amalfi coast locations.

United States of AmericaThe door lock needs to be replaced. Some units require walking down by steps.. but some rooms at the top floor. Can ask for either option while booking.
We loved the location... quiet ..non touristy area. Bus stop right in front for rides to Positano and Amalfi (very touristy). The views from the terrace and patios are spectacular. Great spa facing the sea. Easy walk to the beach at the marina. Wonderful and friendly staff. Family-run. You get a taste of culture and people there. Powerful AC. Free courtesy ride to a great restaurant nearby.

AustraliaThe hotel seemed to need a bit of maintenance and had a bit of a run down feel. Our room had bits falling off the ceiling, which created a mess on the floor. When we mentionedit to staff, they said they had to do maintenance, but hadn't had time. We're not sure how well they cleaned up after this each day as the floor in the room always seemed to be dirty under foot because of this. Despite this, we did like the hotel though.
The hotel itself was lovely. The staff were very nice and happy to answer questions. The breakfast was good and the breakfast location was lovely with a view out over the water. This space was also available to hotel guests throughout the day so was a nice place to sit. The room was a good size. There was a bus stop right outside the hotel, so location was good from that perspective. There is a beach area down the hill from the hotel which as bars, restaurants and sun beds for hire. The hotel has a swimming platform down the hill from the hotel itself, but it is a bit of a climb, so we ended up gioing to the beach down the road instead, as it was more accessible. In relation to Praiano, it was really hot while we were there and, pretty much every time you have to go somewhere, you are either faced with a stair climb up or down. The town isn't compact, so getting around takes a bit of walking. There are busses, but when we travelled (July) it was busy, so you could not guarantee being able to get on a bus. They often just drove straight by because they were full. The problem with this is that they came very infrequently. Every 1 - 1 1/2 hours. This is nothing to do with the hotel, we just think it is good to know if you are visiting.

AustraliaThe rooms were outdated and need to be renewed. Old couch and bed both uncomfortable. If these were updated it would be hard to fault this accommodation.
The main area of the hotel is very nice with beautiful views, lots of spots to sit/sun bake/ private entrance to the water. The breakfast was excellent with so many options, one of the better breakfast spreads we have had in Italy. The view from our bathroom in room (217) was amazing.

United KingdomBe prepared for lots of steps (but that is the same for the rest of the Amalfi coast). Bathroom was on the smaller side, but very acceptable for a 3*. To improve you could introduce shuttles to Praiano & Positano.
Absolutely stunning view, rooms are basic but do the job, the view definitely increases overall hotel experience. Extremely helpful staff, good breakfast.

AustraliaThe hotel is old and could use with a good renovation and some maintenance, however this wasn’t a big issue as it was expected when looking at the photos when booking. It is a shame the hotel doesn’t utilise the breakfast balcony for dinners in the evening, it would be a fabulous location for a chilled pizza restaurant!
The location of the hotel was perfect; right outside was the bus stop, the beach and restaurants are only a short walk from the hotel. The staff were incredibly lovely. When we arrived, we were offered a complimentary spritz and chips, which we had on the balcony with the stunning views. We were then taken to our room, which a bottle of sparkling rose was waiting for us. The view from our room (we booked the Superior Double Room with Sea View) was divine - it was breathtakingly stunning. We actually chose to get delivery to the hotel to enjoy the view some nights because it was just as good as going to a restaurant! I have read reviews saying the breakfast is no good, however I thought it was great! A large selection of options including pancakes, pastries, eggs, bacon, cereal etc. Plus you have the beautiful team making delicious coffee for you on request (thank you Rita!)! The fact that the hotel has the private swimming platform was a major benefit and a great alternative to the beach or beach clubs near by. I have read the reviews that said the ladder was broken; don’t worry, the ladder is fixed!
