Reviews of Toscana Biovillage - Private Cottage

The cottage in Tuscany was part of a well-kept holiday village, and overall, we really enjoyed our time there. The location is excellent, with running trails, outdoor activities, and even a large shopping center just a few minutes away by car. The territory is very clean and peaceful, with a nice pool. The cottage itself was comfortable, with well-working air conditioning.

However, the equipment inside felt a bit outdated — for example, the dishwasher didn’t clean properly, the TV was very old, and one of the air conditioners leaked. Small kitchen items like knives and cutlery could also use an update. That said, the overall experience was positive, and the setting of the village made for a very relaxing stay.

We had a great stay! The cottages are spacious and nicely spread out, giving plenty of privacy. The park itself is small and quiet, with a modest pool that’s perfect for cooling off on a hot day. There are enough sunbeds, and unlike many places, they’re not all reserved early in the morning – so it was always easy to find one. Parking is available along the edge of the park, which was convenient. The Wi-Fi was fast (a big plus for the kids!), and although the air conditioning stopped working once, switching the power off and on quickly solved it. The location is excellent for exploring the area – Pisa, Elba, and the local beaches are all within easy reach. Plus, there’s a large supermarket and some other shops just 700 meters away. All in all, a very comfortable and well-situated place to stay.

There are lots of mosquitoes around the cottage and the pool, so bringing mosquito repellent is a must.

The smell in the house. The air in the house was a bit bad. It was as if the ventilation was broken. There were also some ants.

It was modern and fairly well equipped. The staff were friendly.

I wish there had been a few more emergency items in the shop such as matches, bread washing up liquid etc. In fact I wish there had been a few essentials left in the kitchen. We were only there 3 days and coffee, oil would have been useful. It is the only apartment on our trip where nothing was left. Oh and the ants. I feel like they are crawling on me even now. I'm just being picky!!

mosquitoes are preventing a any diner/breakfast outside unfortunately so it is impossible to enjoy the terrace

Good location, quiet, groceries are (very) close.

The bed was a bit too hard for us, the included breakfast could be better, the EV charging station was out of order on the property and there were very few in the surroundings (we found that the region in general was not so well equipped with well-working EV charging stations)

Nice stay in toscana biovillage. We found everything what we needed. Close to supermarket and 15 min to the beach.

Great spot in Toscana! Safe parking, amazing impression already from passing the gates! Stunning and clean room with plenty of space and outside terrace! Super cool pool with garden!

Nice location, nestled peacefully in the Tuscan hills, yet still conveniently close to the main village of Cecina and the seaside. Very quiet and relaxing

The room was a bit outdated and not properly cleaned. Tv was not working (they gave us some instruction to turn it on but did not work). Breakfast is definitely not worth the money - there’s a set menu (including one choice of pastries, one toast, one yoghurt, one hot beverage and a glass of juice) and no variety.

Beautiful enclosed village with lovely cottages. Privacy, Internet, AC, parking, location... Breakfast was very basic, but very tasty.

Very uncomfortable beds. You feel every movement of the other person, and the pillows were very basic/soft. Private restaurant has strange operating policies, we could not eat dinner there on work days - I don't know why. We ended up having to go eat out.

The location was very nice, people were friendly.

I did not like the mice running around eating the food we brought and mice dropping all over the kitchen table in the morning and in the beds. The mice even got into our snacks. We should get have of our money back as we have video and pictures. All the receptionist said was sorry. My husband and I was not pleased.

Big 1-room house, with plenty of space. Nice kitchen with all facilities, big bedroom with a big bed and also a big bathroom. We arrived late and the key was in the house, with everything ready for us. Very nice and friendly people working there.

The breakfast did not have many choices. The day we arrived, it was late and there was no hairdryer in the room. The next day we asked for one and it was ok.

The staff is unpleasant. Not hostile, arrogant. The receptionist was trying to be nice by having sassy comments, answering to our questions by implicating there are answers in the message they sent us (but they didn't). Hospitality failed.

It was very nice stay during off-season. The bungalow is roomy and cosy. If booked 1 bungalow per 4 people it is cheap as well. Location is good if you're moving around with a car. We liked it.

It seemed like that the jacuzzi (in the bungalows) is included in the price before i booked. Only if you read through their whole webpage - you notice that using jacuzzi costs extra. I think that info should be written on the booking.com page aswell.

The room and the surroundings are exquisite. Very modern, clean and beautiful.

We would have loved to have basic things like sugar, salt and coffee in the kitchen, and a dishsoap to wash dishes without loading a full dishwasher. Also the staff was not responsive on arrival, and when we had questions. the messages were read, but we received no response or acknowledgement. it felt a bit wierd to us.

Everywhere in all rooms ants. I do not understand why they could not put the traps. It is easy and efficient but apparently they do not care
