This hotel is in the lower part, or Orvieto Scala. I was walking. To get from the train station area to this part of town on foot requires going through a walker's tunnel. I found it by observing other walkers. The hotel staff assured me that the tunnel was safe at night, but I was not sure I wanted to return from Orvieto at night by myself. The room was clean and a nice size. It was a little dark.

The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The price was economical. The hotel was close to a laundromat which I needed on the morning before my check-in. I think it was the only laundromat in the Orvieto area. The breakfast in the restaurant below the rooms was a very good typical Italian breakfast.

It is a decent walk from the train station over rough footpaths and through a small tunnel. Noise of fast trains obvious during the night.

Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was good with choices available and very good coffee. Room small but had everything.

Facolities not clean. Room was but not much else. Towels in room might as well have been cardboard boxes. Lights not on in hallway a lot. Breakfast mediocre. Not the friendliest group of people I have experienced. Restaurant in hotel terrible.

Good location, didn't want to stay in Orvieto town. Close to train station and stores close by. Room decent size with great balcony. Room clean.

Very difficult to find given the directions and because many of the streets are not clearly marked.

Good access to train station once I found the place. The room was adequate as well as the breakfast. Easy access to the funicular and food stores.

The hotel location is handy to the train station but it's a bit creepy at night as you have to walk through a dark tunnel to get to the hotel from the old city or station

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were quite comfortable, older style furniture.

Bit of a lump in the bed, and I had to walk through a low, narrow tunnel to get to the hotel from the train station.

No frills joint that was perfect for crashing at en route to Rome. I missed the lift up the hill, but was able to catch a bus into the heart of Orvietto and back. The difference between the cost of this place and any of the hotels up the hill easily paid for my meal that evening, which happened to be fantastic.
