Rather small parking area - guests coming by car may have to park away from hotel. Also if you arrive by train, consider taking a bus - the hotel is within walking distance from Varese station but it's a long walk.

Neat and tidy hotel with a super helpful and smiling personnel. Good refreshing breakfast and really great coffee. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. Lobby area and tables outside make it possible to rest or have a chat outside your room. Nice balconies with some views on the mountains. General shop just across the street, plenty of bars in the area. Also wonderful church (Chiesa di S. Francesco) 2 minutes walk distance.

We only stayed here for one night but our stay was very pleasant. The room was spacious, super clean, well heated and the staff was really accommodating and helpful. Free parking is subject to availability but there is also a free parking lot close by. A bus station to the city center is located 100 meters from the entrance so it's very convenient. Great value for money.

Shade possibilities on the balcony.

Very good breakfast. Was surprised that the marmalade was not "plastic". Comfortable bed. Nice view from the balcony. Some shadow options on the balcony would habe been nice.

Nothing all good.

Helpful and smiley staff. Large bedroom with lots of character. Everything looked well maintained. Lovely flowers everywhere. Petrol station right opposite to fill up ready for our long journey through Italy the next day.

No extraordinary beds or facilities.

The lady at the reception (Jul 10, evening) did extraordinary efforts to make us feel at home. There was a problem with our airco, she dealt with it. One of us celebrated his birthday upon arrival, she arranged a birthday cake with candles and music during breakfast. A big thank you for the extra mile! The breakfast was also very impressive, with lots of local products on a limited available surface.

The location was very close to the site of business-Hopital De circlo and the breakfast was excelleent and amazing coffee!

Noise from the street. We had to change rooms and pay for an upgrade. 175 eur for the new room is quit expensive for an Hotel of this class in the pre season.

The air conditioning was off on a hot night. But even this was not enough to make our stay unpleasant. The kind staff, clean rooms and nice atmosphere more than made up for it.

The hotel and the room were immaculately clean. The staff is very friendly and professional, breakfast was very nice and the coffee even more so. All in all, a very good experience!

Breakfast choice is limited, not much to choose from. The rooms are standard, nothing to write home about :) The place is approx. 20 min from the downtown (on foot), and supposedly, 5 min by car, but because the roads were under construction, it took even longer to go by car than to go on foot.

The staff is really great! They remember what coffee you drink and prefer :) And the coffee is good (if you ask for espresso or cappuccino).

Hotel Ungheria is a gem 💎 in Varese .The staff is very friendly and helpful with all your needs.the hotel is very clean ,the breakfast was really good and there were many Items to choose from.We booked a double room but the management upgraded us to a suite free of charge which made our stay more comfortable.The hotel also has a parking lot which we used since we are traveling with a motorbike . HOTEL UNGHERIA HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Our thanks goes to all the staff and management . Thankyou once again.

The hospitality and kindness of the Hotel's staff! They indeed are very helpful, always kind and warm. No matter what you ask from them they just do their best to come up with a solution with full effort. There are of course more: Delicious breakfast with plenty of options, clean and comfortable rooms, beautiful and plain interior design, and most of all silence at night. Recommended!

The hotel is near a hospital and the street in front of the hotel is the only thoroughfare in the area that doesn't dead end.

The breakfast was awesome - cooked eggs, croissants, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit. The room we had for three people was awesome, spacious and it had air conditioning!
