Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The morning breakfast buffets were outstanding, and the overall amenities and accommodations on site were well worth it. All staff were very accommodating, friendly and kind throughout our stay. Would have loved to stay longer if we were able to.

United KingdomWe felt that a larger mirror and dressing table would have been helpful as there wasn't a lot of storage space for toiletries etc.
We had a lovely stay at Valle Dell'Aquila with our family. The room was the perfect size for the five of us and was very clean. We really enjoyed the breakfast, surroundings and pool area. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

ItalySuper friendly staff and excellent food! My kids insisted on staying also for lunch the following day, we loved the home made pasta with truffles. Lots of fun in the swimming pool, we even enjoyed our Aperitif there. Will surely come back!

It was exceptional clean, the grounds were beautiful and the staff so very friendly. The breakfast that came with the room was perfect. Fabulous pastry, cappacino and fresh fruit or an English breakfast.

United StatesGoogle tried to take us on some questionable roads, but the Valle Dell’Aquila has many signs. Follow their signs.
It was in the Mountains in Lazio. The property is beautiful. The food at the restaurant is local and delicious! Easy parking and everything you need on site. A very relaxing retreat.

ItalyThe morning after a storm we didn't have hot water. We had to wait till 9.00 when the staff was finally available to have a shower! The room had two joined beds and during the night they came apart, even the sheets and my husband had slept on the mattress!
