- It is impossible to sleep Saturday night due to the proximity of a night club, several bars and passing cars with loud music. Bring earplugs! Of course this is not specific to this hotel but the hotel can do a better job in sound insulation with newer windows etc. The other nights were fine, we slept well. - The elevator is noisy. We stayed on the top floor, probably the engine was close to the room.

- Staff is extremely friendly and helpful (I added +1 to my rating for the staff). - Location is great, very walkable to the city center. - Private place at the street for parking. 15 EUR/night. (Don't try to find street parking Saturday night). No ZTL. - Rooms exactly like in the pictures (but definitely aged) with very little investment it will be more beautiful. - With better sound insulation and small renovations, the hotel rating will improve dramatically!

Also, the location. It was okay but it was in a 'dirty' neighbourhood with a lot of trash. It was also a 30 minute walk to some popular attractions or to the main train station. There are a lot of busses connecting to these attractions though, it's a 10min. bus ride.

Room, value for money, location was okay but not superb, staff was friendly. I was on the fifth floor and the noise outside didn't really bother me. But I did wear earplugs.

The shower was good but the jets did not work in our room. We asked for a quiet room which they kindly gave us that faced the back street away from the bars to the front street, but my partner could hear people in other rooms, it didn't bother me but just a note.

Hotel staff are really nice, always someone on the desk no matter what time it is and are very helpful. The room and bathroom are big, beds are comfortable, and have nice big windows.

As everyone else said it’s a bit too much noisy area but I think if you see the reviews and bring ear plugs with you that will be alright. Also breakfast can have more varieties such as more cheese options or olives etc.

I loved the bathroom it was big enough and had a small jakuzi styled shower! I loved also the bed it was comfortable. For me being comfortable and feeling home matters I really enjoyed my stay. The people working there were very helpful I forgot my adaptor and they immediately borrowed me one. Also near by the city center I could walk everywhere at most 20-30 minutes. I would love to come and stay there again

The rooms are hardly sound proof. Outside noise - local gang-style youngsters mostly, is pretty disturbing. Breakfast was really poor (no vegetables, limited amount of fruit). Area does not feel safe, but we actually walked around without any problems.

We got very comfortable big room with the beautiful view of Palermo with balcony and tarrace. Room was absolutelly amazing. Hotel itself in very italian style (nice detail) l. Good location between center and harbour. Very nice service. Very nice and cozy place !

If possible avoid to be there on Saturday nights, because it is extremely loud outside, near the hotel. It is not hotel's responsability, but however, it's impossible to sleep until 3 or 4AM on that night because of extremely loud music. Also, shower cabin in my room was incredibly, narrow, so it was very difficult even to stand in it and to take shower.

Clean and tidy, good location, helpfull and kind staff. Breakfast is also good, and I had very pleasant stay. I would definitely stay again in this hotel and I would recommend it.

Previous reviews state the shower was small. It is very small and had little room to lift my arms when washing my hair. There is no coffee in the room. There is quiet a bit street noise at night.

The staff was exceptional. My luggage was lost and they assisted me in many ways. I did eventually receive it. The bathroom was a good size and rooms clean.

The immediate neighborhood was very loud, and the streets were filthy with garbage and dog poop that people don’t pick up. Bad.

The Property's location is quite shabby and at times it felt unsafe, Thrash was all over the place and run down The area was very noisy especially on Saturday with cars blasting sound till 3am, making so much noise we couldn't sleep (and we were on the 8th floor). Perhaps some proper sound proof windows can help. The room was large and AC in or room was too small for it even if it was at 16 degrees the heat was unbearable. We told the reception an they told us that its because of a heatwave... I live in a penthouse in Malta and even at warmer temperatures my ac at 26 degrees is more than enough. On the second night we had to move the bed to the other side of the room to put it under the ac, then it became somewhat bareable.

The staff were very nice, overall decor of the hotel was pleasant and the place was very clean. Our room Room (8th floor) had a nice terrace with some city views. Comfortable beds. Had Sky tv.
