We could not ask for more , wonderful host , wonderful location and a good night's sleep on a comfy bed !! Honestly if your thinking about where to book let this review be your sign to book here ! You will jot be disappointed, when we visit Venice again which after this trio I am in absolutely no doubt that we will , I will be hoping to book here again just perfect from start to finish and the lady that owns this place looked after us so well from a nice breakfast , friendly face and any advice we needed!!

Great place to stay, modern clean room, great host, giving all the advice to get around,amazing coffee and croissants for breakfast. I highly recommend..any time we will visit Venice, this will be our go-to place.

Long flight of stairs to reach apartments.

Very convenient location. Short walk to two different piers. Amazingly quiet for in a city. Hostess was pleasant and spoke excellent English. Everything was very clean.

Stairs to get to the room are a struggle with big bags.

The host offered exceptional service and incredible attention to detail! The breakfast was delicious. The accommodation was located right near a water bus stop making it easy to get around.

I had to leave and come home

The location for us was perfect, it was quiet and well located for access via water bus. The communication prior to arrival was exceptional including how to transfer. Local knowledge over breakfast and tips were well received and invaluable… a perfect host

Not a lot to add here, perhaps a discreet outside door light and a light that comes on immediately when you enter inside doorway (primarily because of the stairs going up to the property). Main stairs not suitable for the elderly or unfit?

The location was ideal for a quieter trip rather that being in the hub of tourists. The BnB is only a few water-bus stops from the main attractions and easy access again for airport transport. Amazing host who is very attentive and makes sure all is ok with your stay. Lovely fresh clean rooms to add.

Exceptional property located a short vaporetto ride from Venice’s iconic landmarks. Host was lovely and made sure I felt at home, giving many helpful recommendations and local tips. My room exceeded expectations and was kept spotless. For breakfast she provided an array of breads, the best croissants I’d ever tasted (made fresh each morning from a nearby bakery) and other options such as fruit/cereal. Very happy with my stay and definitely recommend.

The host was really kind and helpful. The room was spacious, beautiful and clean. Mineral water and chocolates were provided, which made me feel welcome. At breakfast, she provided multiple breads, yoghurts, fruit and drinks. Her hospitality was perfect. I was so happy to stay here.

The room was compact but functional. Venice is expensive. So, while the price is good for Venice, it's not so good compared to other places.

I thought that staying on Giudecca rather than the main island would be a drawback. Far from it. Dining at the water egde while looking at Venice a couple of hundred meters away is fabulous. In general, Giudecca feels much more relaxed & less congested. With good transport the location actually works very well. Host is wonderful. Apartment is clean, functional & attractive.

Honestly, there’s nothing that I didn’t like about my stay.

Beautiful place, pristine, quiet. Laura is amazing and does her utmost to make sure that you’re comfortable. I’d stay there again, again and again. The location is perfect away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Venice. it is only ~20 min away from the centre by the water taxi which is an additional beautiful trip on the boat that doesn’t cost much. I highly recommend the place.

Nothing! It was fantastico!

Venice Home is in an excellent location, only a short vaporetto ride (around ten minutes), and you are at St. Mark's Square! Giandecca is a quiet haven from the hustle and bustle, and the room at Venice Home was pleasant, peaceful, and comfortable. Laura is an excellent host. She made sure that we were able to contact her in case of any issues during our stay and had great suggestions and tips on how to get around. Breakfast was a delicious assortment of breads, pastries, cake, yoghurt, cereal, and coffee that ensured we started the day well. I would highly recommend it as a great place to stay while in Venice!

Laura was the perfect host. Friendly, welcoming and helpful re local knowledge. Checking in was no problem, Laura was in touch beforehand with directions to property. Room was comfortable with everything we needed. We would stay here again.

It was the best service in my life: always available, never annoying, always helpful, never obsessive. No signs of dust or mould or . Everyday cleaning without any requests. Good advises included. Felt like visiting my auntie.
