Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

An extra pillow would have been a nice touch for added comfort, though the one we had was still comfortable enough.
This apartment was lovely; it's just off a side street in Como town, but quiet. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and has all you need. The host was fantastic; they sent an e-guide with directions and pictures, so finding the place after travelling felt easy! It's right by the Duomo, so when you open your window, you may hear the church bells or the violinists playing; this was one of our favourite parts of the stay! But don't worry; once the window is shut, you can't hear anything and sleep well. The apartment is in Como centre, so you can always nip back to get changed, use the facilities, etc., and have the ability to walk right out into the town to explore.

Great location in Como City, property very clean with modern furnishings and facilities. Apartment quiet even though located in busy tourist area. Rental team very helpful with directions and available if needed for anything. Not that we needed to contact them

Super place with lots of space and light, very comfortable beds and amenities, and thoughtful touches like a tote bag with some pasta and other goodies from the owners (who were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay). One block from the cathedral and within 15 minutes of the ferries and both train stations. Very professional accommodation, highly recommend it.

Nothing - this place is exceptional!
We loved everything about this accommodation, the bed was comfortable, the couch was comfortable, the dishwasher & washing machine worked perfectly. We had been travelling for 3 weeks when we stayed at this accommodation & it was the first that made us feel like we were home. So much space! Also, the digital information was exceptional, very informative.

Fantastic location in the centre of Como. Modern and stylish interior makes it a very comfortable and secure place to stay. Didn’t hear any noise whilst there. Rooms are spacious and perfect for a couple. The staff were super helpful and responsive via what’s app. Any issues or questions were resolved very quickly.

Nothing everything was great.
The apartment was lovely, very comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed for our Christmas break away. Great location nears shops and just a short walk to the lake. All information provided by the owners was very clear and useful would highly recommend

The apartment was wonderful in so many ways. The location was perfect; steps to the Duomo, quaint side streets with hidden gem restaurants, wine bars, shopping and of course very near the lake and the ferry activity. The place was immaculate, modern, roomy and comfortable. The host was in touch and easy to communicate with all the time. One of the best e-features was their app that you download filled with every bit of useful information you need to navigate finding the place, check-in, restaurants, local activities, etc. All the small conveniences of travel were provided appreciated. This was our favorite booking on our travels through Italy.

The property was lovely, no faults.
The accommodation was very clean and all the appliances needed were there. The hosts were amazing and very accommodating, they responded to all questions quickly even at unreasonable times. They were very polite and made sure self check in and out instructions were clear, so we avoided issues regarding getting in and out of the house without the staff being physically there. The location was very central, and there is so much to do and see outside the apartment. The host also paid attention to every little detail, for example they provided toiletries, a welcome gift (ingredients to make a meal on the first night) and Wi-Fi details etc. I will be recommending this place to anyone who will be visiting Como.

Everything was excellent. The app was great, easy to use and it was very informative. The apartment location is great. 5 minutes down to the port to look for new adventures on Lake Como such as Ballegio et al.

Unfortunately we had issues with the shower for most of our stay, which was awful on our holiday. They were fixed each time and we had a VERY small discount (which we still haven’t received) but still ruined it for us. Wouldn’t stay again.
We loved the location. Right in the heart of Como. Spacious place, modern in design and very clean.

Didn’t like the retrieval of the keys, it’s not on the premises but around the corner in a small box hanging on a drain pipe pole with a key code needed to be open, I thought that wS bizarre. The shower tap was broken & we couldn’t shower till the next day. The people looking after the property were helpful at least.
The property was in the centre of everything, great shops, bakery, restaurants & express Supermarket.
