The only thing I didn’t like was that we were not able to stay longer!!!

The location was stunning!!! Every detail throughout the hotel had so many personal touches . The hotel staff were so accommodating and extremely friendly!! We were also very fortunate to meet some of the family!! This is definitely a hidden gem!!

Extra charge for shuttlebus and parking.

Comfortable, good size room. Great water pressure in shower. Balcony was large with amazing views. Just stupendous! Staff was friendly and helpful. Shuttlebus, at a cost, was convenient. Breakfast was plentiful with choices that would suit most tastes...good choice of fruit, ham, bacon, eggs , pastries, cheeses, yogurt, cereal, coffees, juices, etc Hotel was very clean. Did not use pool but looked inviting.

It’s location above the main town gave fantastic views. Every room is a decent size and bigger than most plus you get your own balcony with table chairs and loungers. Breakfast area was huge with great options. Really friendly and helpful staff. They operate a shuttle bus into town for a small fee.

There was nothing about the property that we did not like.

This is an exceptional property with a spectacular view of Taormina and Mt Etna and yet another example of the wonderful properties that we stayed in whilst traveling around Sicily. Whilst the hotel was a little dated we loved its ambience, the welcoming staff and the generous breakfasts that we enjoyed on the patio overlooking the pool. Parking on the property was an added bonus. We highly recommend this property and would go back again in a heartbeat.

There is no real dinner available,at least during the time that we stayed, we were at the end of the season.

The property has stunning views, and each room with the terrace is so beautiful with a view out onto the ocean and beyond and of course Mount Etna right in front of you. Most of the staff was really helpful and very nice, the location is away from the crowded streets of the main part of Taormina. Breakfast was always great and restaurant recommendations from the staff were very good also .

The property is beautiful and serene and the staff at Villa Angela were exceptional. They went above and beyond their duties to make me feel welcome and to help me when I had some problems to solve. I have never seen or experienced such kindness and dedication in any hotel I have stayed at. Thank you to everyone at Villa Angela, especially Charlie, Ada and Gianpaolo.

Getting to and from is a bit challenging if you’re driving due to the narrow streets and hairpin curves (welcome to Italian hill towns). Parking is difficult, so let the hotel staff park your car.

Very attractive and clean. Superb, friendly staff. Great food for breakfast and lunch; delicious snacks until 9 pm. Restaurant was reasonably priced. Unparalleled views of the volcano and waterfront. Frequent shuttles to and from the historical town.

The shower was pretty small. One of the drivers of the shuttle bus was a bit crazy with his driving.

A little far from city center. A little dated

Beautiful view of the city, friendly staff and the garden suite was huge. The shuttle to and from city center was very easy but there is a nice path you can walk down too.

Not a thing!!

Villa Angela is perched high above the town like an eagles nest with a birds eye view of the harbour and to Mt Etna puffing away in the background! We loved the location away from the madding crowd … it was a beautiful oasis. It was easy getting down to Taormina town and back up with the frequent shuttles. We dined at the nearby Al Saracena restaurant twice .. gorgeous food and views to die for! We cannot say enough about the staff! They were absolutely amazing and helped us with reservations, recommendations and were just warm lovely people. Thank you especially to the father/son team 🥰

The only thing that got to me was the sun bed saving. I don’t expect this in a top place. Never struggled for a bed to be honest but it’s just not expected or experienced elsewhere.

The staff were super helpful , the location is breathtaking but you really need the shuttle bus to reach town. I did walk during the day but it’s not advisable on a night out.

Nothing- everything was exceptional

Incredible hotel with stunning views. It was kept clean and tidy by the lovely housekeeping staff. The pool was great and there were plenty of sun loungers for all. Breakfast was fab, buffet style with again- stunning views! The shuttle service made it so much easier to get into the centre of Taormina (only around 5mins drive). We also have to mention how incredibly helpful Gianpaolo was. The night before we were due to fly home, we had a text saying our flight was departing from Trapani airport instead of Catania, with no means of transport to take us to the other side of the island- and no clue how to work the public transport! Gianpaolo spent a long time with us, researching and booking our many bus tickets with us so we could get to the other side of the island in time for our flight. This meant we missed a day of our trip which was frustrating, but Gianpaolo made it so much easier - a massive thank you to him!!

We tried to book another night while there. We were told it was available and then, all of a sudden, it was not available. We were disappointed. Other than that, everything was amazing.

Great location! There’s a shuttle to take you to the main town that you can book ahead of time and your trip back. The pool is great to lounge and the view of Mount Etna is amazing!

Just a personal preference but considering a beachside stay most popular in the hot Summer months we would have liked the comfort of air conditioning in the Reception and Bar area and also the Breakfast and Restaurant area.

The views were excellent! The staff very helpful and cooperative at all times before and during our stay. Big shout out to Katharine for her above and beyond communication.
