Lovely small hotel a short walk from Taormina town centre. We booked a room with a balcony and sea view which is a must do as the view is fantastic. The room was clean, quiet, roomy and the hotel is conveniently located just a short walk to town. The staff were all friendly and helpful, with some excellent recommendations for local restaurants. Also easy to get to Etna from here if you have your own car, just an hour drive - be sure to book a car park space at the hotel in advance.

The walls are thin. I had to ask the people next door to stop playing video games by 10PM, but they were kind and did just that, so all was good.

The view from the room was incredible at sunrise. I kept my window open all evening and enjoyed the sunrise view with the birds waking me up. It was close enough to walk into town and get groceries - right across from a bus station. Nearby are also stairs down to a beach. It was lovely to do as a morning workout.

While it’s possible to buy drinks from the Reception there is no separate bar or pool to relax in.

location is fantastic, with amazing sea views. The hotel is on the quieter side of town - so although within 10 mins walk of the action it’s easy to leave the crowds behind. Gated Private parking in their grounds in front of hotel meant there were no security worries. The included breakfast was plentiful varied and good.

Excellent location with great team of staff. Beautiful property located ideally across from the bus stop to practically everywhere needed. Walking distance to the all attractions. Staff provided support even after hours and when we were on the road and follow up to make sure we were ok.

There isn’t any access to a tea kettle or coffee maker. You can buy a capuchino for 3.50 € and other drinks but nothing is complimentary.

The Staff is friendly, and the stay was comfortable. The 20 euro daily parking on site is helpful. The breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh OJ, cheese, lunch meat and many breads and pastries. It is quiet with a great ocean view and a small but lovely outside dining area. The room is adequate, simple and fine for 2 people. There is a bus station across the street and the main walking street is very accessible. Lots of ATM. Machine are close by, as well.

The room wasn't super charming in itself, but the view and the balcony more than make up for it!

Great value for money in Taormina, and an exceptional view! The location is great, it's slightly outside the centre, making it more accessible by car or bus, but still minutes from everything in town. Super close to the Belvedere and the steps to the beach as well. Very helpful staff as well!

First and foremost is the extraordinary Staff - Giuseppe and Marco - who made our stay like in a fairytale. They’re kind, helpful and beyond dedicated. The location is in perfect and quiet area with astonishing seaview but also close to the city and magic of Taormina. Delicious breakfast tho!

The rooms are nice little small but that was already in the description.

Villa Astoria was a very decent place to stay. We booked a room with a view and it was fantastic to wake up with this view. It also had a little balcony that we enjoyed a lot in the mornings especially having our caffe. It was clean. very close to to bus station so we did not have to walk to travel. It is a few hundred meters walk to the center. It was quiet and nice. Staff was very helpful.

Fall in love with Taormina with your base at Villa Astoria. The view from our bedroom was gorgeous. Access to the beach was very easy with the cable cars (€10 return Taormina - Mazzarò). We reserved parking on the premises which was very convenient. Parking in town is not at all easy, so this was very helpful. Walking to the old town was fast and there are many beautiful stores to visit. Hidden bars and restaurants sprinkled all over town. And of course you can walk past the White Lotus hotel. Maybe you'll spot the ghost of Tanya McQuoid in her Miss Piggy outfit.

The view from our room (24) was spectacular. This small hotel is a gem with very helpful staff, a beautiful courtyard that comes with a friendly dog and our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast included the usual pastries plus eggs, yogurts, bacon and fruit. Coffee was delicious and made as ordered. The hotel is across the street from the bus station and well located within Taormina.

Villa Astoria is an older hotel on the main road into Taormina-a short walk into the old town and perfectly located across from the bus station. The staff was helpful, the rooms basic and comfortable and the breakfast very good.

Loved my stay here. Being just out of the old town made it a lovely quiet oasis to come home to. Beautiful views. Comfortable room. Nice, happy, helpful staff. Close to the cable car, so easy to go down for a swim, a short, easy walk into the old town. Being directly across the road from the bus station makes it easy to get to other places.

Very nice hotel in Taormina, with a very good location, close to the city center and main attractions. Also it has private parking (at a decent cost). The staff is super friendly and helpful. Our room had amazing sea view.
