    Nothing to fault.

A small hotel run as an agri-tourism business. A bit difficult to locate, but once found it was idyllic. Swimming pool outside the small number of rooms, delightful rooms, and a Saturday evening buffet for €20pp. A very congenial stay, slightly out-of-the-ordinary made it that much better. Highly recommended.

    Nothing

This was the fourth time we have stayed at Villa Belfiore and it's always a pleasure. The hotel is run directly by the owners and both they and their staff go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. The breakfasts and dinners are a main feature with such a wide selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, all grown in the grounds and the pool and surroundings are ideally located to catch the sun all day. The local village (Ostellato) is a ten-minute walk away and has a variety of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. Villa Belfiore is a restful place to stay and is well situated for trips to historic towns, like Ferrara (20 mins by car), Commachio (10 minutes) and Bologna (50 mins), as well as day trips to Venice and Padua. So, excellent food, welcoming owners and staff and a great pool: what's not to like!!

Less suitable for children in my opinon Not many dining alternatives in the town nearby.

Beautiful place with gorgeous gardens. Swimming pool is very nice and clean. Restaurant is excellent. Very nice and professional staff.

Authentic style, older buildings, private garden, lovely rural escape at the edge of a huge natural park. Google maps sends you to a nearby private institution, so take accurate directions with you.

    Our stay was too short!

The staff were all marvelous, the gardens are beautiful, and the pool is sparkling clean. It's a very relaxing and tranquil spot, and the wellness center services were not only great, but also very reasonably priced. We had a fantastic weekend and hope to rerurn!

Saturday night so buffet rather than a la carte menu.

Beautiful grounds and building. Lazing around the pool enjoyable on a hot afternoon

Lovely staff - I was given tea in front of the log fire on arrival. I stayed in the modern block: the bedrooms are very warm (it was a February visit). I liked being able to order eggs for breakfast (not being a fan of sweet things first thing).

Staff hardly speak English, which might be complicated if one doesn't speak a few words of Italian

Great location for relaxing, nice pool, helpfull staff. Fresh fruits from the garden!

A translation of the menu would be nice since almost nobody speak english. There was no minibar in the rooms as stated.

Breakfast!, Nice big pool and polarea in a garden with deliciuos fruits to eat. Very good and fast wifi (but it did't reach out to the pool)

Ho apprezzato la tranquillità del posto, la gentilezza della titolare, la ricca colazione a base di prodotti freschi
