Absolutely great place for the rate...excellent room, huge buffet breakfast, newly refurbished room with extra comfortable bads....a bit out of the way was only drawback and that was minor...top notch place

The pillows..

The room was refurbished.. it was beautifully finished.. clean sparkling white towels everyday.. when I asked for some assistance re baby food they were all very helpfull, both staff at reception and the attendees at the breakfast room.. smell of cleanliness.. area of the hotel is just magical...quite.. we had a quadraple room and it was spacious and not cramped and the wardrobe was suitable size to accomodate us all.

Everything was perfect.

The villa is.located in Pistoia, a picturesque village in Toscana. It was our base accommodation. Hotel has ample parking space. Staff very helpful. Rooms spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds.

The bathroom would like some renovation. But nothing critical, just some small renewals. Nothing that would disturb the stay too much.

The hotel is very good for family. Great breakfast, close to city center, friendly staff. The room is very comfortable. We will come back for sure.

The breakfast room is more les a cantina. Not really a very nice room. The breakfast is good but not wow. Frequently they had problems with having enough supplies. The coffee machine was broken several times etc....

Great room, great restaurant in the garden, swimming pool was good and large. Very nice rooms and very clean. Super service. The personnel is wonderful!

The hotel is situated just outside Pistoia so is quieter than staying in town. The staff were always happy to help when needed, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was fabulous , particularly the rainforest shower which was lovely. Breakfast was lovely with a good selection each morning. The pool area was well maintained. The adjoining restaurant was a lovely way to spend the evenings without going into town. The shuttle bus to/from the station is a welcome bonus but make sure you book in advance.

The pool closes at 7 unfortunately, and it is required to wear a shower cap in the pool that they charge you 3 euro for.

Very private location that feels in the country side. We had an issue with the electric car charger and the staff was super accommodating!! The breakfast was large and lots of options, and it was the most comfortable bed we experienced in all of Italy!!

A lovely, warm hotel. The staff are wonderful, mutli-lingual and welcoming; they couldn't have done more to look after me. The restaurant on site has a good selection and very reasonably priced. A short walk from Pistoia Town centre, its well situated for business, family, solo travellers.

Couple broken poolbeds in the piscina, but overall we found good ones.

A beach towel would be nice. I also feel that literally anyone from outside can visit the swimming pool, as no one is checking the entrance or room numbers.

Really nice room, with beautiful view, really comfortable bed. Quite big swimming pool, enough sunbeds. You can order shuttle taxi in advance to go to the city centre and train station. Really good breakfast.

We liked everything!

This was paradise! The hotel was classic, the staff more than helpful as they provided advice regarding the area and suggestions regarding what we might like as well as restaurant recommendations. The restaurant was an epicurean delight. Good, service, atmosphere were all sensational. The pool area was beautiful and exceptionally well cared for. Clean and the bar access and service was superior.

The menu in the restaurant is the same for the whole season. It's lovely food and quite a wide selection, but if you are basing yourself at the hotel for a week or longer, it's going to get a bit repetitive.

My main comment is that everything is spotlessly clean and the staff are just lovely - so friendly and helpful! Breakfast - Buffet Style - more than adequate for our needs. Nice choice, pastries that were freshly made, fruit, yogurt, cereal, cold meats and cheeses, eggs, bacon, tea, coffee, juice - the usual things but nicely laid out and fresh. You can request additional things (including non-machine coffee) and staff will make it for you. Pool is clean and pleasant and big enough - although the day passes the hotel sells to local folk mean that it can get busy at weekends. Poolside snacks and drinks were nice. I would have preferred if it was open for longer, particularly first thing in the morning (pool doesn't open until 10am, closes at 7pm).

This was our second stay at the Villa Cappugi. This is the best place I have ever been to so far. The bed, staff, rooms, nature, swimming pool, and etc. - everything is just great! I am planning to come back there!
