No hooks! Hardly anywhere to hook our towels and clothes except for a closet. The rooms needs to be more geared as a hotel room.

A well assorted breakfast, but no home made touch. Wish the pool didn't close down at 2000. An evening swim would have been lovely.

A lovely place to land after late flight and restaurant managed a nice bite to eat upon arrival for our group. Couldn't ask for better place to stay close to 40° In August. Would have loved AC in the messanin flat.

It was a quite remote location and it was sometimes hard to get a taxi. The staff was however helpful with calling a taxi when going in to central Lucca during daytime.

Nothing really, would’ve been useful to have more space to hang wet costumes/towels. Bit other than that it was perfect.

Villa Cheli was wonderful! It was the perfect place for us as a family, they had a brilliant family room with a mezzanine, a beautiful pool area in a quiet setting and perfectly located for trips into Lucca and Pisa. The restaurant was also lovely and good value for the heat standard of food.

Pillows were a tad flat

Loved the restaurant at the hotel and loved the big breakfast served each morning. Pool area was beautiful, would have been nice to have a waiter by the pool to offer drinks. Room had a beautiful view. whole property absolutely gorgeous and clean, well kept.

No food/snacks available between breakfast and dinner. There is a sign letting patrons know that food from outside of the hotel is not allowed.

The pool, the terrace was also very nice in the evening.

A few more tables with shades at breakfast time when busy would have been appreciated. Inside dining area was acceptable but not overly enticing.

Breakfast was self service on outside terrace at front of hotel which was a lovely setting (inside if you preferred) and all you could want. Pool was good with lovely views of surrounding hills. Nice old property up a long drive so distanced from road. Dinner was also served outside which was enjoyable. Location accessible to Lucca and Pisa.

Opening hours of the swimming pool could be a little bit longer.

Lovely historic villa in the hart of the Tuscany countryside and just minutes away from Lucca. Good value for money, dog friendly and very accommodating stuff. We had also a dinner at the hotel's restaurant which was very tasty and a good option for us after a long day of travelling. The hotel also sell it's own wine and have lovely swimming pool that unfortunately we had no time to make use off. I would highly recommend this place for a short or longer stay.

Nothing really, the bathrooms have been updates since my last stay which made a difference , only recommendation I would make is to upgrade pool umbrellas and sun beds, not a must and would’ve t stop me coming back but would upgrade the hotel a lot.

This is a beautiful authentic Italian Villa , rustic and charming. Location and tranquility are the reason I chose This villa , second time and becoming a bit of an Italian bolt hole. The restaurant has a new chef , Mirco Citti, some of the best food I have tasted on numerous trips to Italy. For anyone looking an authentic Italian experience with great food and staff this is a must!

Location for pisa airport was perfect, the staff were exceptional both late in the evening when we arrived and for checkout early in the morning . Really big rooms which stayed quite cool in the hot Italian sun.

The staff were polite & friendly when serving our evening meal but were extremally rushed and therefore service deteriorated.

Beautiful setting & having breakfast outside was delightful. Pool looked great but unfortunately no time to try.
