There is nothing not to like here!

Hotel is small but really nice. The facilities are good and the public spaces excellent . The bedroom and bathrooom were simply done but in keeping with the hotel. The staff were all exceptional and could not do enough for you without being overbearing.

A beautiful property with very spacious rooms and bathrooms. I'd call this a 4+ star property with a first-rate main restaurant, bar and staff. There is also a more formal Michelin star restaurant that we did not try. Breakfasts were really good and with plentiful options. We were able to enjoy the pool area and sauna/steam room - it was chilly outside so very quiet. Best part - the views from the hotel are incredible. We enjoyed sitting outside on the benches to enjoy the sunset. Overall, would highly recommend!!!

For such a high priced location one would expect that there would be an excellent breakfast service. It was not bad, but you had to pay 5 euros for a fresh orange juice and 6 euros for eggs or an omelet. The free egg option was to boil your own. The croissants were not fresh, seemed to cone out of a package, not from a bakery. The room was nice but paying 223 euros a night for a room directly above the bar with hotel guests hammering away on the piano late at night was not ideal. After calling the reception it stopped quickly, but one would expect a quiet room for that price. You had to get your own bathrobe at the reception(not included in the room), the curtains did not keep the light out and the do not disturbe button did not work. Finally for such a high priced hotel you would expect a decent gym, not just a very basic treadmill.

The restaurant was very good and we loved the location, great views over the valley and the vineyards. The front desk manager was very kind.

As a Hayfever sufferer I was unfortunately badly impacted by the high pollen level during the stay, as there are forests nearby. Any other time of the year I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Excellent food. Beautiful location and great swimming pool.

    Nothing, nothing at all

Simply outstanding, friendly, sincere and helpful staff in all departments of the hotel. It is obvious that the staff themselves are happy in their work and so are happy to help you and provide a wonderful atmosphere in the hotel. Stunning location and truly exceptional food and wine. This is simply my favourite hotel of any in the world I have ever stayed in. I have visited now on three occasions. Many of the staff have been at the hotel for many years and are like old friends. The sommelier was very helpful and friendly an the chef came to say hello after the dinner. In my view, for the quality, the prices are very reasonable for the rooms and at the bar. The Peidmont area is truly beautiful and has the best food an wine in Italy. It is ideal for wonderful walks. The hotel arranged a cooking lesson in a nearby house and are glad to offer many other services, they were always glad to help in any way. The hotel is tastefully decorated in a modern style but there is nothing pretentious at all. Lovely bar to have pre-dinner drinks in.

Beds were just a little too hard (perhaps offer mattress toppers?) and, in some rooms, showers were small.

Such a happy atmosphere. All staff focused on pleasing guests. Excellent gourmet restaurant. Bistro very good. Rooms good size. Hugely attractive decor. Internal courtyard was a real bonus. Daytime and evening views were breathtaking.

Other service was not small luxury hotel level. It was nice but not wonderful. They rather have small talk with Italian customers.

Two older male waiters were the best. One in the breakfast room and the another at the pool side.

No options, other than the Villa D'Amelia, close by for eating out.

We felt pampered the whole time we were there; from our check-in, the staff in the restaurants and around the pool, the breakfasts and the comfort of our room. The food was excellent. The views are amazing and so many places, towns and vineyards to explore near by if you have a car or bike.

Bistro menu (including the quality of the food) was disappointing. Not to be confused with the main restaurant.

Great swimming pool. Excellent staff. Great position to experience the entire Langhe region. Or you could even make excursions a bit further afield.

Breakfast seemed rather poor compared to the restaurant, sitting in the shade, it was chilly. Bathroom lacks a bit of comfort. Wellness and fitness not really appealing

The views are amazing, the food worth a detour! Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Lots of families with young children. In the courtyard during aperitivo, in the breakfast room, in the pool. It was not what I expected and interfered with our hopes of having a luxurious, quiet retreat for a few days of a busy vacation. I also found it overall lacking in personality or charm. Simply not our kind of place.

My favorite thing about this hotel was the bed. The most comfortable room of our entire trip. Beautiful, beautiful setting, and not too far from Alba to go in for dinner and the passeggiata.

the hair dryer could be improved...took forever for my wife to dry her long and thick hair!

Their restaurant has great food and wine selection. Definitely recommend trying out one of local wines on the list. The staff will be very helpful choosing the kind according to your taste.
