Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

IndiaThe wifi did not connect in the bedrooms. The TV could have been bigger as it was very small.
The breakfast was delicious and the spread was very generous. I liked that they top up your coffee for no generous, it's very hospitable. The hosts are lovely and warm, they're always happy to help. The facilities are very relaxing as well. Giulia, their daughter, was great too!

AustraliaThe breakfast is a little underwhelming: you're limited to one portion of eggs and one coffee per person, but otherwise there's just sweet cakes and pastries, yoghurt and granola - no fruit or fresh anything. We knew the rooms would be quite traditional but there were a few little surprises: the bathroom didn't have any windows and we're not sure if the the extractor fan was working as it didn't do much to vent the moisture; and the bed seemed to be two single frames pushed together and would move independent of each other. Also, depending on the size of your car, you may want to park in the marked bays near the main road, as there's a surprisingly narrow bit at one point to get to the property's own parking area.
The wellness areas are a really nice touch, with a large pool, sauna, or jacuzzi available for you to book privately for one hour per day. The property itself is in a very cute little town about 30 minutes from Siena and has a gorgeous aspect out across vineyards and rolling fields.

CanadaThey are strict about checkout and use of amenities. When we checked out at 11AM we were hoping to stay to use the pool until we had to depart around 12. Since we were here for a wedding offsite, we hadn’t gotten a chance to use the amenities at all. However this was not allowed unless you stayed to pay for lunch.
Beautiful property, family owned and with everything you need! The restaurant is great and has an incredible view, there is a pool and hot ton/sauna, and they offer activities that you can do around the area as well. Right in the Chianti area. Can’t go wrong!

FinlandIt was a perfect holiday in a perfect location. We had a room with a terrace overseeing the sunset every evening. Good restaurant services but also a private kitchen made cooking easy. Good breakfast, missed something fresh like fruits or vegetables but good option on sweet and salty breakfast. Pools (public and private) were refreshing on hot summer days. Short drive to visit beautiful places in the Toscana. Happy to visit again in the future!

AustraliaAmazing Tuscan views from our room and the villa grounds. Great location for winery visits and day trips to surrounding towns. We loved the cave/sauna/aromatic shower experience as well as a sunset jacuzzi spritz and relaxing by the pool. Giulia and her family were fantastic hosts and their staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay again!

United States of AmericaThe rooms are really small, the TV is also very small, not too comfy, our room was better, but it was lots of stairs, my sister stayed in the room by the Weinards, beautiful view but way too small, they also have guests next door making lots of noises almost until 3am, they could not sleep, since we had 2 rooms with different experiences make sure you talk to them first
This property is beautiful, the food is amazing, and the people were so welcoming and nice, you got to have lunch or dinner there it was amazing.

United KingdomThe only issue we had was a fault air conditioning unit which dripped throughout the night. But will 100% visit again, was sad that we only had booked the one night.
It’s all so beautiful and the real tuscany. Family run in beautiful surroundings. The outside pool can be used at any time and is lovely and the indoor pool with jacuzzi is bookable for 1hr slot and feels like a really relaxing treat. The service and family feel is the biggest highlight.

NetherlandsTakes a bit of a drive to get around. But that's Tuscany, hilly and steep.
Great retreat in the middle of Chianti. The family run staff was very friendly and welcoming. When our 6 year old got sick one day, they were very warm towards him and trying to help make him feel better, always asking how he is and trying to cheer him up. Room was retreated and spacious with a rural vibe to the whole place. Great food from locally sourced ingredients.

United States of AmericaAmazing location! It is an extremely small little village but has amazing restaurants nearby. It was extremely peaceful and relaxing. You definitely need a car to navigate around this area. It was great to explore the many wineries nearby. Make sure to make a reservation for official tours and tastings, but you can get a single glass at most places easily.

GermanyFor breakfast, only 2 hot drinks were allowed which seems stingy for accommodation charging 182€ per night without VAT. Also towels for the pool cost 5€ to rent, since one is not allowed to use the towels provided in the bathroom for the pool (also stingy at the price of 182€ per night). Furthermore, there are no bathroom facilities at the pool, which is generally accessible. Pool was "open" from 8 am to 8 pm, but since the pool-cleaning robot was in the pool until 9 am - this was a problem, since breakfast is only served between 8:30 and 10:00 am. We were allowed to use a special spa area for 1 hour per day for free but it wasn't clear how to book this - so we didn't get to use it.
Breakfast was ok but no fruit available. Walking distance to one-star michelin restaurant. Nice view of the surrounding area. We had an air-conditioning element but didn't use it. Restaurant at the facility is good quality with moderate prices and is open daily.

BelgiumOverall, we rate this stay a six because we missed the typical “b&b vibe” which is more personal and at ease. We more had the feeling that we were staying in a hotel, which is okay if that is what you like. When we first arrived we were too early for check-in. Not at any moment we implied or demanded that we wanted to have access to our room, we just wanted to relax somewhere. However, we were told we could only start using the facilities (e.g. the pool) when we were checked in. From that moment we did not feel really welcome there unfortunately. After having lunch and visiting a winery we came back to check in, and then we were welcomed in a friendlier way. Overall, the accommodations were a little outdated, however it is stated that it’s because they want to maintain the classic Tuscan vibe. Also the mattress could use an upgradeW We did one of the activities “wine painting” which included that we could paint something using paint that was made by grapes. We were a little disappointed as it was quite basic and just “paint something from a photo” without really any further guidance. What could have made it better to do it outside because you have the live view there, and maybe get a class of wine. The person who did the experience was very nice though.
The surroundings are amazing. The view you have over the vineyards is just absolutely stunning! The b&b has a restaurant where you eat breakfast and where you can also get lunch or dinner. We had pasta for lunch and it was great! Every day you can make use of on of the free spa areas.

SwedenThe rooms do not match the rest of the place. It needs to be updated with new blankets/pillows. The bed was very hard. For the price we payed the standard of the room bar very low comparing to the other places we stayed at in the area around.
The place is very charming and the food was great. Very good wines.
