The bed was quite hard and the shower was extremely small.

The location is fantastic, only a few steps from the main beach! The staff was absolutely incredible and so helpful, especially Alfonso at the front desk.

Amazing villa with such amazing staff!! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. A special shout out to Alfonso - what a lovely person! He was so, so, so friendly and always so genuinely happy to see us. Very helpful . Nothing was too much of a trouble for him. Never have I experienced such a perfect customer service in any hotels I have stayed.

First of all have to emphasize the extraordinary, warm and welcoming service provided by Alfonso, it truly did our stay a bliss. Afterwards, the property’s location came very handy, as it is close to the beach, town center and ferry pear. The breakfast was nice and well served by Maria.

Linens dried in a dryer is a mandatory investment that should be made, towels uncomfortably stiff.

I would have liked better ventilation in the bathroom. There was no extractor over the shower and although there was a window it was very high up and inaccessible. Breakfast would be more to my taste were there fewer cakes and filled pastries and more plain options. However, Maria who served the breakfast was very accommodating and willing to please. There was always freshly squeezed orange juice available and scrambled eggs made individually by Maria on request.

The staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Silvia, the hotel owner, welcomed us on our arrival and made us feel like her personal guests. The whole of her team was friendly and keen and able to answer questions and provide information about local services etc. The hotel was charming and individual and in an excellent location. The beds were very comfortable with high quality linen. The breakfast room had lovely views over the sea.On our last morning when we needed to leave an early breakfast was made available . I would certainly stay at the Villa Tartana again if I returned to Positano.

They could have been clearer about where to be dropped off by taxi - we had to walk down many stairs with lots of luggage and injured our shoulders.

The view was unbelievable and Alfonso was amazing - so kind, thoughtful and fun! He genuinely wanted us to have a great time - thank you!

For a European room, it was extremely spacious. Large room and bathroom. Most importantly the location. If you don’t already know, Positano has stairs. And I mean STAIRS!!! Everywhere you go. The location of this was ideal. So close to restaurants and shops without having to hike! We had friends staying in other places and wish they stayed with us!

We loved our stay there. The staff was wonderful and gave us a very home like atmosphere. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. It was close to the beach, and the view was incredible. We got tons of exercise walking up and down the steps but that’s where you are in Positano. they provided a nice breakfast every morning with fruit and pastry and cappuccino and orange juice. They gave great recommendations for restaurants and sites. There is a wonderful archaeological museum on the church right next to the property worth seeing.

The location is perfect, you can walk everywhere. The view from the balcony was amazing, and the manager Alfonzo is the best! He always has the best suggestions and is always happy to help. This was my second stay at this hotel and I will return again.

Getting to the location with many bags of luggage is a struggle. There are services offered to bring the luggage for you but we were not aware until after the fact.

Location was near perfect. But the best part of the stay was the staff. Alfonso made our stay better than we could have imagined.

My stay at La Villa Tartana exceeded my expectations which were already so high! Before I arrived, I reached out to Silvia and Alfonso (hotel managers) various times with questions, requests, and assistance with making reservations in the area. They were beyond sweet, helpful, and timely in assisting me. My luggage was actually lost at the airport and they made every effort to help me communicate with the airport staff and taxi service to get my back returned asap. Moreover, the hotel is adorable and in the perfect location (less than 10 min walk to all the best restaraunts and 2 mins to the beach/marina). We had a sea view room and it was so stunning and picturesque. I will 100% return when I am in Positano.
