Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsVilla Loghino is perfectly located right next to Volterra and close to the main roads for longer trips. Beautiful, quiet and peaceful. We stayed for two full weeks to calm down and chill out. Alessia is a great kind host and went above and beyond on our every request. The swimming pool is great! This is an apartment and not a hotel. So be sure to bring your own groceries, as there are none provided and also there is no (option for) breakfast. Not a problem though as there are various supermarkets nearby in Volterra. Or simply get great Italian breakfast in Volterra or on the road. We have an EV and even though there are no charging stations in the immediate vicinity, we had no challenges / waits charging in Volterra. Often combining groceries at Conad City with the "fast" (only ~60kW) charger there. Combined with plugging it on one of the type 2 chargers while going for dinner. Great value for money! Alessia, grazie mille di tutto e saluti da Mojo ;)

United KingdomNothing really. Everything was great. The villa is a bit secluded so the roads to it are not the best but it was a fun experience driving there nevertheless.
Incredible apartments to stay at if you're traveling around Volterra, San Gimignano, Pisa and that area of Tuscany. We loved the quietness at the villa and the pool was amazing. Alessia is such a great host as well.

GermanyWe arrived expecting the delicious breakfast to be served, as described in description on Booking and in the reviews. But Alessia explained that that she stopped serving it. So take note: you need to buy groceries, as there is nothing on offer to eat or drink at the accommodation. No tea or coffee beans in units either. We also had to buy dishwashing liquid and had to ask for a sponge and dish cloth.
Alessia was a very friendly and kind host. Our self-catering unit was spacious with a big comfortable bed, AC and lovely outside patio. Free parking on site, next to the units. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. We could see the pool from our door - so easy to just jump in and out as we pleased. Our 2 yr old had a blast playing with the pebbles, in the pool and discovering all kinds of critters like geckos, dragon flies, butterflies, bumblebees, etc. It was great to have calm and quiet, hearing only nature sounds, day and night. Volterra and supermarkets is 10m drive away. Osteria Villa Felice is a great place for lunch and dinner, even with children. B&B Prato d’Era is a bar & café with coffee and breakfast, a few minutes drive away.

United KingdomNothing.
The location was out of this world. Remote so a car is essential as there are only two local taxis, which are always booked and very expensive. The breakfast was delicious. Fresh produce, plenty of it and a hostess who's aim was to please. The owners dog was an added bonus. We absolutely loved it.

AustraliaThe cell coverage is non existent for EE, O2, Vodafone IT, etc and site WiFi was patchy ( typically it showed high signal strength but indicated a lack of port capacity - too many devices concurrently using the system) except at night. However it forced us to evaluate why we were on holidays in the first place and we began to accept the lack of electronic intrusion and see it as a positive. Don’t be deterred switch off and enjoy the quiet.
Pretty much everything. From the moment we arrived our host was on hand to greet us at the car parking area. She showed us to our room on the first floor of a beautiful Tuscan style exposed beam high ceiling Ed room with a steel framed very comfortable bed. The room was comfortable and hanging space and storage adequate. The ensuite was generous and the shower hot and adequate. Windows had shutters and curtains and were fitted with insect screens. they overlooked the garden and patio area where breakfast was served and off to the right was the very clean and sparkling swimming pool. The Breakfast was terrific, with local honey, salami, breads, olives, figs ( really good figs), grapes or alternatively omelettes, a fried focaccia with a sort of egg whites and bacon or ham savoury mixture and home made desert cakes freshly made each day. round off with fresh juice and coffee . we were very happy. We loved the quiet, the bird song and the interaction with the hosts beautiful dog ( surrogate son) gueedo. and her two cats. Really enjoyed our time here

United KingdomIt’s a shame some basics were not supplied. Ie a bottle of water in the fridge for arrival as there was no supermarket nearby, maybe washing up liquid and a dish cloth, so that we could clean up a bit more.

NetherlandsIt was quite a drive to go to Volterra from this villa. There was NOTHING around to get food or drinks. And since the villa doesn’t serve any breakfast or food, a car is highly needed and groceries need to be done elsewhere. Room is ok. Typically Italian style. I didn’t like the shower cabin.. very inconvenient
The location of the villa was in the middle of nature. Therefore it was quiet and peaceful.
