With hindsight we should have hired a car as the taxi fare into the centre is very expensive for what is just a 10 minute drive. That said, Eleonara gave us lifts whenever we asked, she is amazingly accommodating.

The villa is high in the hills overlooking Sorrento with breath-taking views. It was very comfortable with everything we needed. There was a lovely swimming pool which was perfect for cooling off after a busy day. The host, Eleanora was so welcoming and helpful and went out of her way to make our stay with her perfect. The villa is about a 25 minute walk away from the centre of Sorrento, perfectly do-able although in places the path down was quite steep so you need to be reasonable fit. The walk back up was less easy but Elenora offered her services to drive us whenever we wanted.

Elanora was great! She made us feel at home and helped us by picking us up and dropping us off at the port as well as driving us to Sorrento when we wanted to go. The place is nice with a balcony and a nice view. I would recommend this property!

Fantastic apartment. Beautiful view of Sorrento, ischia, and mount Vesuvius. Eleonora is a wonderful and attentive host, who couldn’t do enough for us. She was able to give us many lifts to and from Sorrento town and we also were able to walk up from Sorrento. Flat has everything you need! Would 100% recommend this accommodation to friends and family for a lovely holiday.

Easy to walk down to Sorrento, but need a lift back - not really a problem though as owner will collect you.

We loved the area, the view is outstanding, quiet and peaceful. The apartments are spacious, lovely pool area and the owner is very helpful arranging lifts and tours. We had a lovely stay.

Although the description of the property says it’s 3km from the beach, you cannot walk anywhere as the roads are so narrow & winding. The locals used to zoom around & I felt it was quite unsafe & it may be more than 3km to the beach/ town centre. so this alone left me disappointed as we had to rely on the host to take us up & down.

Eleanora, the host was lovely, & basically was our taxi driver up & down to the town centre. The views from the apartment were spectacular I have to say. When we checked in the apartment was clean.

Wow what a view!!! The apartment is really cute and the view makes you feel like you are living in a dream. The host is exceptionally friendly and ready to assist with everything. Definitely made our stay so much better.

It was a nice quiet 25min walk down into the town but it would be a strenuous walk back up the hill. Thankfully Eleonora was more than happy to give us a lift.

The view from the balcony was beautiful, it was the real highlight of the property. The property is quite a bit out of the town up a steep hill so isn't really possible to walk to and from the town but the host was fantastic and drove us to and from town whenever we asked and was always available to drive us.

The apartment is located 40 minutes from the center, but the view is beautiful, green garden full of trees is wonderful. The hosts gave us a lift to the center, picked us up from the train, took our luggage to the port. There was a lemon liqueur waiting for us in the kitchen - wonderful! There was coffee, jams, rusks. The hosts are nice and the dogs and cats we love only complemented this place.

Awesome!!! We enjoyed our stay at Villa Lorna sooo much! The flat was big and fully equipped with everything you need for a longer stay. The best part of course was the huge balcony with a stunning view! It was so beautiful that we did barley leave the appartment in the evening. We also enjoyed a lot having the pool just for us most of the time. But by far the very best part of our stay has been the extremely friendly hosts! Umberto and Eleonora are gracious!!! Not only they equipped our flat with breakfast essentials and have gifted us some other food, they really took care about us having the perfect holiday. We talked a lot to them, nearly every day and they recommended us a lot of trips and explained sooo much about living in Italia. Our highlight was the trip to Capri where Umberto showed us the beautiful island. We enjoyed our vacation so much and can't wait to come back again. We definitely recommend this accommodation!

We had an amazing stay at Eleonara’s place: the view is spectacular, the place is clean and equipped with everything that you might need. Eleonara and her family are amazing hosts. They gave us good recommendations, drove us around when needed. They are friendly and nice people! Eleonora and her family were incredible hosts and made us feel welcome from the very beginning! My cousin and I are so grateful for their thoughtfulness and useful travel tips during our stay! :) The views from the balcony were incredible and it was difficult to peel our eyes away from the stunning horizon at sunrise and sunset! The accommodation was also very spacious with all of the amenities that we required to help it feel like a home away from home.

We loved everything. Couldn't say there was anything we didn't like.

We LOVED our stay at Il Sogno di Lorna. The place is amazing and the view from the balcony is absolutely stunning. The apartment has everything you need including washing machine, kitchen with many appliances, plenty of closet space, clothesline, good shower and A POOL! Our hosts were INCREDIBLE. Every time we wanted to go to town, boat port, train station etc. our host Eleonora would drive us without any hesitation. She was so lovely and after a long day of sightseeing, all we had to do was Whatsapp her and she would pick us up and drive us back to our beautiful villa. She was so helpful to us as well and always gave us great advice on what to do. Her father Alberto also lives on the property and recommended us a great tour to Capri and brought us fresh cherries and oranges from their garden. It is a perfect spot 10 mins drive outside of Sorrento's main town in a nice quiet, secluded location where you feel like you are away from the busyness of everything. We loved returning to our place at the end of the day and drinking wine on the balcony as the sun set over our view of the ocean , Sorrento town and Mt Vesuvius. We couldn't recommend Il Sogno di Lorna any more.

We had an exceptional stay with at Villa Lorna. The place was very comfortable with plenty of breakfast food provided. The place has everything you need with stunning views and a lovely outdoor pool. Eleanora was a very welcoming host and was more than happy to give us lifts down and up the hill into the centre of Sorrento. Highly recommend a stay here. Note the villa is quite far out from the centre (approx 30 mins walk) but due to Eleanora’s generosity giving us lifts this was not an issue.

There was nothing to dislike

Great, spacious accommodation with lovely views from the loggia. Fantastic host! We felt welcome and pampered. The host, Mr. Uto, took us out of the port when we went to Capri Island so we didn't need a parking space, we received great gifts, we received a lot of good advice and contact. It was a fantastic experience! I'd like to get back there again. I recommend it to everyone!

Everything was nice. The owners are very hospitable and helpfull. They gave us many very good advices what to see and where to go. They took us for free to the harbour. The property is in country side, stunning view fro. the balcony, not easy to find, the road is private, so google maps are confused. Just continue on to Via Belvedere and the owners will stop you. Umberto and his daughter are very nice people.

Unfortunately the apartment was very dirty when we arrived & there was a musky/damp smell. There was also mould inside the dishwasher & washing machine - we didn’t bring this up at the time but I’m sure eleonora would’ve cleaned for us. The bed was very uncomfortable and the bed frame wasn’t accidentally attached the bed for some reason?! There are a few dogs nearby that bark quite a lot which causes a barking choir - didn’t bother us but might annoy other people!

Eleonora & her family were so lovely & kind. They picked us up and dropped us back to the apartment whenever we wanted which was great as it’s about a 45 min walk uphill from Sorrento. The view from the apartment was absolutely breathtaking. There were 2 lovely dogs too!
