How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Room was smelling cigarettes… it’s a horrible no go for me. The smoking smell was coming from bathroom. So I don’t ow if it’s the previous guest, that broke the rules and smoke inside or someone next door smoking in the bathroom. Ventilation system is horrifically old, makes so much noise , so I couldn’t sleep all night. All the rest is ok. Nice mix of antique furniture & Italian style

Verified reviewActually, we liked everything. The room was good, although right atop by the employee parking, it had an amazing view and wasn't loud. Storage space was excellent, the bathroom had a window, and the bed was very comfortable . We liked the breakfast, too, with a good choice of everything, and also with the possibility of sitting outside. Try the chocolate block, it's very special. I most appreciated the service au the réception (Ms Meri), who provided excellent and detailed info, double-checked by phone, on the visits of Palladian Villas nearby. Outstanding service and attitude. Also very good - service during dinner, notably by Ms Oana. Attentive, kind, with an eye for details and high quality. Overall, it was a great experience there, very recommendable for stays in beautiful countryside yet close to the small Veneto towns and all the region has to offer.

Bathroom was on the small side and felt a bit outdated. Would have been nice to have made-to-order eggs at breakfast (without extra charge).

Personal tried to be helpful, kind and nice but... The room was not clean... Toalett didn't work properly (problem with water). We did wait one day for reparation. When you check out the system as such put 5% of the room price as an extra bonus to room personal/service. When we have asked, they explained what is all about and they can remove that charge if we say so. Very very strange. Exactly the same princip was when we get bil for the frukost. At arrival day (ca 16:00) we were tired and decided to stay in the hotels restaurant for the dinner but....they didn't have place for us. Very very strange knowing that restaurant was very very big. It seems that they have already boked restaurant to someone else and for us hotels guest was not a place any more.
