Our experience at Hotel Montanarini was nothing short of exceptional. This charming, family-run hotel exceeded all expectations in every possible way. Despite being an Asian guest, I was treated with the utmost warmth and respect, with absolutely no hint of discrimination — only genuine hospitality. The owners were incredibly kind and attentive, always accommodating our requests with care and sincerity. We stayed for four nights and enjoyed a truly restful experience in a beautifully maintained property that felt both elegant and welcoming. If we ever return to Parma, this is the hotel we will undoubtedly choose again. It was, without question, a perfect stay.

The breakfast is basic but okay.

This almost 4 hundreds years old villa and its decor was a very pleasant experience. The room and bathroom were very large and comfortable. We enjoyed a wonderful, but reasonably priced dinner on the premises. The lady in charge of the hotel was very helpful and friendly. It was a relaxing expereince and we would like to come back!

Rooms were spacious and facilities were modern yet in keeping with the traditional villa feel. Staff were welcoming and helpful and made great recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit.

The Restaurant was closed in Summer, but you can get bar service with small snacks and food

Very nice sole location, we liked the calm environment, best to relaxe and chill at the poolside. Good restaurants In about 5 km car radius, the rooms are spacious and very nice, the hotel is in a historic villa. The staff is very caring to feel comfortable. Very recommended for a stopover to the south or to explore Modena, Mantova and Parma.

There was nothing we did not like.

We liked it all. The building, the huge and gorgeous room and wonderful bath, the amazing staff, breakfast, garden and pool, it was absolutely amazing. Owner was so welcoming and nice, and recommended a wonderful restaurant not to far that was excellent.

The mini fridge was kind of noisy.

This place is amazing! It is a renovated old villa, with all the period furnishing still in place. The rooms also have the same style, except for the bathroom that is modern, big and spot-clean. I only stayed one night for work, but if I can I would love to come back for a couples' weekend here. I ate dinner at the restaurant, and was also very very satisfied. Food was very good and service also, very polite and quick.

Unfortunately the pool was filthy due to dirty rain so was in my opinion unusable. A real shame.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the building is amazing, comfortable rooms, fantastic breakfast. Lots of parking, great restaurant just a stones throw away.
