The last days of August and the beginning of September were very hot in the Ligurian coast. Temperature skyrocketed to 36C during the day. Not having an air conditioning in our room and in the whole facility made life harder. The small fan helped and allowed sleeping. Indeed, air conditioning was not mentioned in the description of the room, but we come from a hot country, where almost all private and public spaces are air-conditioned. With the expected increase in global warming, summers in the Ligurian coast wil be even hotter, and people should think about installing cooling systems.

Villa Paggy is a renovated and secluded farm house at the middle of olive groves planted on a steep slope. The place is owned and run by a wonderful couple who treated us warmly. Breakfast is outstanding, prepared by the owner himself and the location of the dining balcony is fantastic. The views are great and the garden and surroundings are beautiful.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Alessandra, who welcomed us warmly and helped us as much as possible with our requests, and to Gianluca, who prepared a wonderful homemade breakfast every morning in the lovely breakfast room and its terrace. We will never forget the kind personalities and warm hospitality of the people working at Villa PAGGI. Villa PAGGI has many places where you can relax, enjoy the panorama view, feel nature or listen to the birds singing. In the beautiful atmosphere our days up there was very peaceful. It was our first experience staying at a B&B for one week, and I am really glad it was at Villa PAGGI.

The road to the villa is a little narrow.

We had the best time at Villa Paggi! The hosts were very friendly and explained everything about the places we wanted to visit. The breakfast was delicious and we had something different every day. Also, our room was very clean every day! Thank you so much! Location is good. Everything is closer.

It’s a beautiful villa in the mountains. Perfectly renovated. The room in the second night was not as beautiful as the first night. But it was our choice because we choose to stay another night without booking in advance. The owners were so friendly and knowledgeable. We followed each of their recommendations and it was superb

We came in the middle of summer so it was very hot. Aircon would have been good but other than that no complaints

This property was very easy to live in, it was also clean and tidy and the owners went above and beyond to make sure you felt comfortable. It was a great experience and location was great and the view even better. The local cats made it even better :)

Very lovely and serene place with a good view. Lots of opportunities for seating if you want to read or enjoy the sun outside. Very beautiful area for breakfast outside. The staff is extremely nice and happy to help you if you want to get some tips about what to do in the area. The breakfast is really good as well with lots of selfmade items that are delicious. I also liked that they are very eco-friendly in general. You can reach lots of nice places from the property by car or you can also take the train from Chiavari which is very convenient. You should be ok with the fact that the road is quite narrow and that you need about 15 minutes to the beach or to the train by car (which we didn’t mind).

Great breakfast, homemade jam, honey and delicious cakes served in peaceful terrace with beautiful view. Our host was incredible nice and frendly, gave us many useful information about the house and the region.
