wonderful old villa. Quiet. Birds tweeting in the morning. Hosted by the friendly owner himself. Generous breakfast. If desired, excellent dinner cooked by the host - what a treat! Close to Lucca, the various villas north of Lucca and to Pisa. Excellent base for a couple of days and beyond.

We only stayed one night at this lovely hotel but we really enjoyed it. Our room was one of the best we had during our time in Italy, spotlessly clean, decorated in beautiful cool blues with a lovely marble bathroom and fabulous views over the countryside. The owner was incredibly helpful and we loved spending the evening chatting with other guests and enjoying his own wine, which was very reasonably priced. Breakfast was great and the setting, high in the hills outside Lucca, was absolutely charming. It felt like stepping back in time. We would highly recommend it.

Gorgeous authentic villa! The interior decoration is just like in a museum and really the impression that you have arrived in a family home, everything is done very beautifully and harmoniously. The indoor area is 10 out of 10. Loads of places to relax, stunning views, and a pool (didn't use it as it was cold) The rooms are super authentic, the bed was very comfortable and the towels and bed linen were new. Cleanliness is a 10 out of 10! Breakfast was great too, everything super fresh and tasty. I recommend a visit, it will leave a great feeling and memories!!!! To the owners, thank you so much for your work and letting us enjoy such a great place!

The toilet was noisy even when not using it which disturbed sleeping every night.

Great location in calm surrounding and stunning views from the hotel room. Simple but lovely breakfast. The hotel and the rooms are nicely furnished.

The stay was great, realized that we should’ve stayed for a bit longer to enjoy the countryside even more. The staff helped us with a way back to the city train station early on the morning which was very welcomed. Thank you! We hope to return back some time!

We just loved everything there, old beautiful house with soul. The room was spacious and nice. The garden was nice and just the atmosphere so nice. We had a great walk in the neighbourhood and the view from both house and garden beautiful. The owner is super sweet and you feel just so welcome. Nice breakfast 🥰 Both the evenings we decided to relax and have dinner at the hotel, because there is no restaurant the owner lét use use the dining room and helped with everything. Can only recommend to stay there.

Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

The house is very special. You almost feel like royalty from a different time period. Our host was very helpful with everything we needed. You are free to enjoy the house as you wish. There is a lovely bar area where you can enjoy wine or make your own cocktails and relax with your family. We only stayed for one night and I would have loved to enjoy more time here.

Our car navigation didn't find the villa - we used Google maps on our smartphone which found the Villa for us.

Breakfast was great with lots of müsli and fruit and bread and cheese and ... The Villa Padone is simply beautiful. It is exactly what it says - a family villa with lovely furniture, fittings and wonderful views across the surrounding countryside.

Villa Pedone is absolutely stunning and is just a short drive from the walled city of Luca! Each room is warm and welcoming. The views of Tuscany are picturesque and gorgeous! We felt like we were in heaven! Each morning we enjoyed a beautiful breakfast. Lucio went out of his way to help us with anything we needed. The highlight was a private cooking class we took at Villa Pedone and enjoyed under the Tuscan stars! Our stay was truly magical! My family and I hope to return to Villa Pedone again!!

Amazing Villa, the location is perfect. The owner is very friendly, attentive and helpful. The dinner is homemade authentic and delicious, the house wine is great!
