The hotel was difficult to find. I wanted to return the card for parking but everything was closed (I lost deposit 20 eur.). The view was nice but there was nothing to do there (only 1, 2 restaurant open till 10 P.M).

Location and view from the balcony was really amazing. Staff was nice and helpful. They arranged parking permit for us which is really important inn the restricted area.

The room request was ignored and the staff rude and reluctant even to separate a double to provide the the two beds requested at the time of booking and in a subsequent email. The beds were hard and uncomfortable and facilities available minimal.

    The view.

    it could be cleaner

Amazing view! Village is very nice, accomodation is at the enterance to the village, it is very easy to get there. To get to Taormina you should catch a bus that goes every 1h. Buses can be overcrowded and chaotic though. It is nice and quiete place to stay, the view is worth it.

The bathroom was in a bad shape, probably the worse I used for quite a long time. Shower cabin did not close and was so small one person could not move in it and literally all of the sinks were leaking. The property in general was not very well kept, and the feeling is that the hosts are relying too much on the luck of the location being stunning, without caring enough about keeping the place in decent conditions. Side note: obviously no one's fault, but getting to the place is not easy, and if you are driving I recommend to plan your route ahead, since Waze and Maps do not work well up there, and might lead you up a dangerous road that is only for pedestrians.

The rooms are located in a beautiful location, on a town right on the peak of the hill above Taormina. The view from the room is outstanding to say the least. The cleaner lady is a nice person, and did clean the room very well. The size of the room is decent, and compared to what you can find in Taormina, I guess it is not a bad deal overall. The town of Castelmola is just a gem.

Shower cabin was very small. Use only the main road to Castelmola, do not take shortcuts. Our GPS suggested the shorter way with a sign "Residents only" and we ended up on the edge of the cliff hundred meters high with the steep, blocked and inaccessible road.

The view is unbelievable here. Room was nice and with antique tones. The town is worth to spend at least a half day - medieval small streets, cosy squares with people dining just in the middle of a small square next to a church - like in visit Italy commercials. Restaurants were good. It has a good working air conditioner.

Tiny bathroom. Very limited place around the toilet (it is only toilet-bowl-wide between the wall and the shower cabin). Weak water pressure in bathroom. Low-cost and poor quality and very thin toilet paper :( At least 1 year old pile of dust on the wardrobe. Dirty balcony. A bit of mold-like odor in the room but nothing unhandlable. And also, they have very noisy mini-bar refridgerator, especially when the thermostat switches it off (it happens several times during night).

Excellent view, top location, the room is very sunny early in the morning (possible to completely darken it) and it is pretty chilly in the afternoon and pleasant during night. Good air condition. Very charming neighborhood and old town of Castelmonte. Friendly and easygoing employees.

Don't go for the value deal without breakfast. They charged us €15 for breakfast for two for a bun + coffee. Run by staff rather than owners.

It was a bit hard to find. When we found it, no one answered the door as it turns out, the reception is in bar near by. We didn't know that for hotel customers parking is free so we paid for the parking.

The view was great and Taormina is just a few kilometers away. You can get there by bus or on foot. Room was clean and quite cosy.

Castelmola is 5 km up on the top of a mountain. The views are amazing once you've gotten up the very steep road but that's it. It's not a place for getting into Taoromina easily. No breakfast.

The room was not very clean and the bed is uncomfortable. The were mosquito's in the room when we checked in and they were due to a strange choice of paint on the walls - very hard to find! Also the owner of the restaurant/B&B is a little grumpy.

The view was absolutely amazing! And Castelmola is so great. The B&B is located perfectly in the city centre (which is very small).
