Nothing really, even the 15’ walk to town through the cobbled alleyway and romantic steps was just perfect

We loved everything about Villa Rosmarino: the villa is traditionally Ligurian yet exceptionally functional and clean. The bed is large and comfy with lovely crispy linens. Breakfast is the best, alongside staff’s hospitality. It was a wonderful weekend for us

    Absolutely nothing.

Villa Rosmarino is what dreams are made of. A beatutiful villa, with few but beautifully decorated rooms and interiors, a lovely garden and pool with a stunning view of Camogli and the sea. Mario and Fulvio are wonderful hosts, they can help with some top recommendations for restaurants or places to visit. They offer the most delicious breakfast and you can order drinks throughout the day. Simply perfect!

nitpicking here but the shower water pressure was low.

Nothing negative, we loved everything about Villa Rosmarino.

The room was very comfortable with the most amazing views over Camogli. The staff (especially Marta and Romolo) made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were delicious.

The online photos don't do it justice. The rooms and common areas are much more stylish in person! Lovely hosts, tons of comfort, and great breakfast.

Everything except the magnificent garden We were "greeted" by a sour unhelpful non speaker of English She went off 10 minutes after we arrived In the late afternoon a more helpful girl was there At midnight a group of hotel guests were outside talking loudly sitting under our window This villa is for families or groups Not for couples Sadly the lauded owners weren't. There... Not a good experience at all Rufallo a sweet guy The shower had a weak flow in a gorgeous bath room A comfortable bed They say it should be regarded as "a home" For us not a home sweet home

Breakfast served too late for early birds we were awake from 7am The kitchen was locked

We stayed just for one day at Villa Rosmarino and it was magical! Mario, the owner of the villa, stays at the Villa all the time and makes sure, that every guest has a wonderful stay. He is very friendly and gave us some excellent tips on what to do in the neighborhood and even reserved a table for us at a very popular restaurant in Portofino. The interior of the Villa and the rooms is very impressive and truly luxurious. The bathroom is not only very clean, but also incredibly well designed. We will try to return as soon as possible, maybe not during the top season, but in fall, since the Villa should be beautiful all year long.

No air-conditioning, except for a mechanical fan.

The bathroom in the Palm Room is quite small but I am 9 month pregnant, so I feel cramped in most bathrooms now.

The position is great with beautiful views and perfectly kept garden and pool. There are many other villas on the hill but scattered, you will feel isolated. Basically no traffic nearby, no disturbing bell ringing (there is some coming from both up the hill and down, but not too loud, and trust me I have a very light sleep), no dogs barking and the rooster mentioned by another reviewer is no more there. The tranquility matters in Villa Rosmarino: it obviously depends on other guests' behavior. Some walls are not really noiseproof, but we were there while all rooms were occupied and had no issues. Be ready that you might not be accepted with kids. On the other hand be sure there will be no screams and pool splashing early in the morning. The breakfast is served on one long table for all guests. Much fruits, croissants, cereals, yoghurt, bread and homemade jams, focaccia bread. There was no salty choice but I guess you only have to ask for it. There were no fridge in the room (the minibar is shared in a common area). I didn't see a TV around. But you'll not need it: there is a beautiful parlor with sea view, balcony, sofas and about 15 length meters of books of all kinds, many of them being photography volumes. The descend to Camogli by foot is a pleasant walk, the return is not a problem if you don't have mobility issues. In Riviera often the most beautiful places are ruined by train passage. Here you'll not notice it as the train enters in a gallery in Camogli and exits only over the Portofino hill.
