The WiFi worked as long as you were in the bedroom. Additionally the hot water for showers did not last very long. An in room nespresso would be great, but then we would not have enjoyed our morning coffee at the corner cafe every day of our stay :)

I loved the location of the room, close to shops, restaurants, and the train station. Also its location in Vico Equense is a great safe and central location from which to visit Naples and Pompeii as well as the beautiful towns of Sorrento, Positano, and Amalfi. The room was clean, comfortable, and private and the staff was extremely kind and helpful.

1. This is are B&B serviced rooms. There was NO Breakfast provided, instead , we were asked to drive up hill to the " mother hotel " DOMO 20 " and be served there this is of course , unacceptable. The operator could have arranged with near by restaurants an easy way for the guests instead of hassling them up hill... 2. Cleaning not to perfection, in fact , there was no cleaning at the first day and I had to alarm the system to send a cleaner.

Important to clarify: our review is about DOMO20, the other property owned by the owner of Villa Scaramellino, and not the villa itself. We were moved to the villa due to a water problem with our room at the Villa. DOMO20 is phenomenal. Beautiful views over Vico Equense, great bar rooftop bar, fantastic service, comfortable and clean rooms, great staff. We tried the tasting menu and we're not disappointed. We would definitely stay here again.

it would be good to supply a kettle (there is a pan and oven so you can use this to make coffee/tea) but a kettle would be better.

the property is in a great location, right in the centre of the town. breakfast is included but it is at the hotel at the top of the hill - so it is a bit of climb (or they will collect you if you need a lift). the breakfast is great with lists of choice. the staff are really friendly and helpful.

Would have been lovely to have a kettle in the room - we really missed having a cup of tea whenever we wanted. Although the walk into town is short, the walk back feels a lot longer because it is a heck of a hill. My calves still ache!

Full disclosure, we didn't stay at the Villa Scaramellino because the owners offered an upgrade to its sister hotel - Domo 20, which we accepted. Domo 20 is a lovely hotel, the staff are without fail helpful, friendly, and speak excellent English. The breakfast is lovely - plentiful and varied, and the view from the rooftop cocktail bar is sensational. Domo 20 is just a 5-10 minute walk into Vico Equense's town centre.

The wifi: Often, not available, and when it was, impossibly weak

We stayed in the double room at Villa Scaramellino. Everything was perfect thanks to the thoughtful and energetic service by Dario and Ima - a warm, hospitable couple. They drove us to Domo20 for a delicious breakfast on the terrassa, to the station for our trips to Monte Faito, Sorrento and Capri. They looked after all our needs. The central location is terrific; the room is very spacious and comfortable. Our only problem was with the very poor wifi. Thank you! We love you! We'll be back! Arrivederci ❤️🌺❤️

Clean but not spotless (streaks on the shower walls and metal elements, dust on remotes and in nooks and crannies, stains on the couch). The room was not very soundproof. The windows were doing a good job keeping the street noise outside, but the door did not. You could hear your neighbors conversations and it also got very noisy very early due to the bakery on the ground floor. The room should come with a pair of earplugs.

The room was beautiful and spacious. The bed was very comfortable, the AC worked well and silent. It is located in the very center of Vico Equense with all the necessities close by. The staff was absolutely lovely, very responsive via WhatsApp and when there was a problem with water they have sent a plumber immediately.

The apartment we had on the 1st floor was pretty small, the main bed was in the entrance hall without any window, a lot of noise coming from the house, no moscito nets, weak wi-fi.

Kettle, tea and coffee in the room would have been welcomed. They did bring us a kettle when we asked in fairness, but it meant hunting for teabags, milk and sachets of coffee. It should also be made clear that there is no food served at this site contrary to what some of the booking sites say: there is a 10 to 15 minute walk up a very, very steep hill in the morning if you want breakfast at the sister hotel. Not everyone could manage it; I’m sure they would have picked you up if you’d asked, but that would mean you’d have to be up at a specific time every day. Breakfast was lovely when you got there, but people should be under no illusion that a steep walk is involved.

Nice big room with modern facilities, located in the centre of the town. Pretty decor, good TV and plenty of space. Very noisy if you left the balcony doors open, but you could close the shutters and use the air con to get round it. Staff at the hotel were friendly and polite, and happy to help wherever they could. Breakfast was very good quality and plentiful.

Slightly misleading as listed facilities/staff are located at parent hotel 10 minutes up the road. Staff communicative but almost too much so (via whatsapp) and immediate attempt to get you to cancel reservation through booking.com and pay them directly in exchange for free breakfast (again at parent hotel).

Location of room itself was excellent (center of Vico Equense). Bathroom was very nice.
