Exceptional hotel, highest level of hospitality. Everything was above our expectations - comfortable, clean rooms, fantastic breakfast, friendly and very helpful staff. And all this in beautiful Cortona! Like in many medieval towns there is a shortage of parking places, but the personnel of the hotel will effectively help you to park your car.

Homemade breakfast with eggs and croque monsieurs was outstanding! The room was spacious and comfortable with the prettiest view of the countryside. What stood out most was the friendliness of the staff even from our first greeting. They helped us make phone calls since we only spoke minimal Italian. They went above and beyond helping us get to the train station when we had an early departure…actually driving us themselves. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. We will be back! Thank you for a beautiful stay and for smoothing the bumps of travel!

Breakfast was amazing great variety of delicious foods, pastries and fresh squeezed orange juice! Excellent location walking distance to everything. Comfortable clean room loved the tea kettle! Staff was friendly, accommodating and very helpful when needed.

Nothing in particular, maybe the few parking spots would be a challenge for some but I didn't have a car with me therefore it was not an issue for me and they have a nearby parking as a solution.

I enjoyed the comfort, the decor, the little treats such as the tea time, the candies in the bedroom, the kindness of of driving me back and forth to the train station, the delicious breakfast, the staff is so attentive.

Excellent breakfast with a wide choice of fruit, home made pastries, hot and cold treats. Very friendly staff, service-minded and kind. Additional treats from the hotel proposed at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Very well situated, at walking distance from the old city centre.

There is nothing to fault.

Villa Marsili is a dream! The hotel is a boutique hotel and it is truly from a different world. The hotel itself is a historical villa which is classical and beautifully decorated throughout with antique furniture. The breakfast is simply the best and by far one of the tastiest breakfasts I have ever eaten in a hotel. (I have traveled extensively). I recommend trying the delicious delicacies which their chef prepares. They are amazing! Our room was extremely comfortable and had a fabulous shower with a great pressure. The staff there are so friendly and helpful. They take time to explain and tell you where to go. In the late evening, they have this wonderful Tuscan tradition of serving Vin Santo and cantucci as well as other biscotti. It’s just a lovely touch before you turn in for the night. I definitely recommend staying at Villa Marsali it is wonderful!

This is such a charming hotel that gave us a truly warm Tuscan welcome. A beautiful villa that we were encouraged to treat as our home. All the staff were so friendly and very helpful, particularly with recommending restaurants and cellar tours. The breakfasts were excellent and the location is a short stroll into the town. We loved everything about it.

Nothing about the property, my stay was delightful. The only negative was that I could only stay at Villa Marsili for one night!

Beautiful, elegant room decorated with traditional Italian style. My view onto the countryside was lovely. The staff were exceptionally helpful, organising taxis to/from the railway station and directing me to restaurants offering vegetarian options. The highlights, however, were the sensational buffet breakfast, the evening aperitivi served with delicious pre-dinner snacks, and the later evening sweet treats and vin santo available to enjoy in the bar or one's room. A short walk to the historic centre of this stunning town, made famous by Frances Mayes in her novel Under the Tuscan Sun.

Was the best selection I’ve ever had. They made anything I asked for. Fresh fruits and amazing pastries. Large selections for every types of delicious selections.

It was a bit too warm during the night, the digital thermostat was a bit confusing.

The breakfast has many local tuscan home made pies and specials. It also includes brunch options which are very intricate. There is also a small buffet in the evening or during the day with many homemade special cookies. The staff was very attentive and kind, every detail was being considered. The room had a great view over the tuscan hills. Location is a short walk to center.

Villa Marsili is a special place to stay if you are visiting Tuscany. The staff is amazing and will go out of there way to help you with anything you need. The Villa is unique and the rooms are always spotless with attention to detail. We will be back.
