Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Not working whirlpool (jacuzzi) ruing the kid's spirit. Can't say it was announced before, but when you have it and it doesn't work...
Unexpectedly good hotel in the middle of nowhere. Probably mostly used by the people passing by the Autostrada.

heating- to warm in the room. softer matras for bed

breakfast was poor and didnt match our expectations you better buy something outside. The water in the shower and sink had a taste of rusty metal for some reason. also in one room the air condition didnt work so they move us to another room but the air condition in the second room were licking and we wake up to a flood in our room and they didnt move us beacuse there wasnt rooms left.
the staff was kind and helpful as much as they can. the rooms were clean and also the shower. the hotel looks good in general and worth the money that we paid.

All ok.
Clean, all new and well presented, great location near the route, since we only stop to sleep and continue the trip. Nice and efficient staff. THE BEST: FREE PARKING ON SITE since we have the car loaded. There is a great restaurant nearby! and it is in a small shopping center with pharmacy.

Thin walls. Very noisy. Could not sleep I heard everything from the rooms on the floor and the cleaning ladies. Thankfully this was a short stay of one night.

The only thing which wasn't great was the location/view but this was expected.
A nice, clean hotel which is perfect for an overnight stay. We stopped here on the way from Milan to Siena and it served its purpose. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast good and sufficient and the room a decent size and very clean.

Surroundings a little 'industrial'.
Clean, warm and welcoming. Very easy to find from the motorway. Ideal rest stop after getting off the ferry in Ancona and before continuing to Calais.

View from the room is on the roof of the supermarket. Ventilation system doesn't cover needs for fresh air.
Very kind staff. Good breakfast. Actual status of hotel (renovated, clean, and with good design).

Shower is a little small and the room smelled a little bit as cigarettes.
We stayed in a family room (four people) and we really enjoyed it! The hotel is new, beautiful, and comfortable, the staff was very friendly and it’s well-located if you’re near Reggia Emilia.

The furniture was a bit old, especially the beds, and also the floor, but the sheets were clean.

The room was great, but the slippery, dangerous shower floor is going to be the cause of an expensive lawsuit someday. I've been in traveling in Europe for 80 days: worst shower floor ever. Someone is going to get seriously hurt.

It seems the hotel could use some fine-tuning. The shower fixture was broken. Also, there was a small flashing light in the room on the ceiling (probably a safety light) that flashed throughout the night. We managed to sleep with it, but the facilities people should be made aware of this.
This hotel is perfect for travelers who are spending the evening near Reggio Emilia. It's priced well and it's only a short 7-8 minute car drive to parking and the historic center.

Bathroom was dirty, smoking seems to be permited and therefore you could smell cigarette smoke everywhere, dogs are allowed so you get woke up by dogs, you can hear everything from the next room. The water had a strange iron smell, it didn’t feel like having a shower to clean ourselves.
Good location for tranzit, near the highway. Spacious rooms, friendly staff
