Going back up the stairs to get back from the beach, but this cannot be avoided

Loved the quiet location with private access to the beach. Awesome breakfast included with a beautiful terrasse view. Service was exquisite, top notch.

The room was very clean and spacious with lovely Italian tiles. We had large terrace with amazing view. Breakfast was great and staff were very nice and helpful. We suggest to get potter service for your luggage if you are coming by ferry as there a lot of steps.

Perfect stay, no complaints. Stairs could be challenging for some, especially if they have mobility issues.

Lovely, spacious room, with a beautiful view. Christina and her staff are professional, helpful and friendly. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight. Also, enjoyed dining at Pupetto's seaside restaurant. Excellent food & service! Hotel is conveniently located, just a short, walkable distance from town.

The staff, especially Francesco and Roberta, were extremely helpful. They were always willing to help. Francesco was extraordinary. We can see that he is passionate in his work and always with a smile. It’s a pleasure to see him in the morning in the restaurant during breakfast.

The bed was not really comfortable and the pillows were awful. The room was clean but not deep cleaned. The bed smelled a little like urine our first couple days there and there was a wad of black hair attached to the shower wall. Air conditioner was old and could hardly cool room enough to be comfortable.

This property has an excellent location, near the road with beautiful views. The room was beautiful with bright colorful tiles, high ceilings, and roomy spaces. Large updated bathroom. Our balcony had a great view and we enjoyed relaxing on it morning and night.

We felt like we were a part of their family. The breakfast each morning was just what we needed to start our day. Service in all aspects was exceptional. We felt close enough to city center to enjoy but far enough away to not feel overwhelmed by the crowds. I would love to visit again.

Breakfast was excellent. Front desk called barber and made appointment for me. Front desk also called and cancelled a dinner reservation for us. Porters were helpful with the bags.

Not easy to find. 200+ steps up from the beach and 70+ steps down from the road. (Like many hotels in this steep hillside town).

Great views, very nice breakfast terrace and buffet, wonderfully crisp sheets and comfortable beds. Quiet location. Helpful staff.

Location was great in a much quieter part of town. The Pupetto beach club was fantastic to be able to access. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Beautiful breakfast with an amazing view. Big balcony with deck chairs to lounge on.

The location in Fornillo is perfect as it only a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Positano, via Hotel Pupetto (down many stairs). The views from the terrace and balconies are exactly what you see in the photos. The staff are helpful, rooms are clean and a good choice for breakfast.

Like all hotels in Positano, the stairs and walk is a lot. This hotel was in the second bay so did talk about half an hour walk to get into the centre and longer going back uphill. However, the views were stunning in the walk. Reception is quite confusing to find, if enter via the beach you need to follow the path round and you will reach the hotel rooms on first entering the hotel. You need to use the lift and go to the top floor to reach reception. A sign explaining this would have been useful. A shop in the hotel complex would have made it better as there were no local shops around.

The staff at the hotel were fantastic. The reception staff were so helpful and informative during the stay, the breakfast staff went above and beyond their service and the staff moving the luggage were fantastic. The hotel offers a luggage service to transport your luggage which was great as we could not have carried it all that way ourselves- make sure you arrange this with the hotel before arriving. They even dropped our luggage back off after storing it for the day at the port to save us from going back to the hotel and transporting it ourselves. The room was large with great balcony and the shower had a nice window looking out. The breakfasts was fantastic with a lovely view on the terrace and tasty cooked options.

Very cute hotel in positano, confortable beds, the staff was lovely and very helpful. Plus the hotel have an elevator to directly access the stairs to the beach and offer discounts.

Might be a problem for you, even though it wasn’t for us: there are around 200 stair steps to go down to the beach and back to the hotel.

The stay was very pleasant: the room was clean, spacious, and had a great balcony view. The staff were accomodating and kind, while breakfast was well-organized and fresh. Bonus advice: request a room at a higher floor for better views.

Just be advised that there are a lot of stairs in and out of the Hotel.

Perfect stay. The hotel is well located, near the Fornillo beach, accessible by a private path, and near the bus stop to the city center (which is not far even by walking). The amenities are nice and clean, it has the true Amalfi coast vibes, and the views are really beautiful. It was wonderful waking up hearing the birds and looking at the sea. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly.
