Living room not air conditioned so it did get rather hot even wt the windows open n fan blazing.

Nice views. Apartment well equipped wt washing machines n dryers in a communal area. The owner was very accommodating easily accessible and responsive.

The apartment is over a set of commercial buildings and access to the apartment is via a set of stairs then the lift. However the host was helpful and help us to carry our luggage up the stairs to the lift.

Brilliant Location/amazing views especially at night- easy access to the local facilities such as Emancipation park, and all the food outlets are within walking distance. Devon house is nearby. The host was welcoming and showed us how to access the building and use the facilities.

The host was great, accessible and met us at the property to explain how everything worked. Accommodation was a good size, exceptionally clean in a location was ideal to access food, entertainment and transport. Security on the gate were pleasant and diligent.

Aircon system is great in the bedrooms but does not extend to the living room. Not a problem as long as there is a breeze.

Nice secure flat with everything you need for a home away from home. Good views out over the city. Short walk to Shops.

The shower in the main bedroom didn't work. I pointed it out to Mark and he arranged to have a plumber in to fix it. Luckily there was a shower in the other bedroom. The ceiling fan appeared to be insecure, so we didn't use it. Mark said it was actually secure; it was just the top cover had worked loose, making it appear worse than it actually was. There was a lack of cutlery. If there had been more than 2 people it would have been totally inadequate.

Mark, our host, greeted us at the apartment, even though we didn't arrive until 3am due to a 6 hour flight delay. He was friendly and very comprehensive in giving us information about the apartment and potential trips we might want to do. The apartment was airy and comfortable, with good views over the city to the ocean.

The AC wasn't working in both rooms on the first night. My family had to open the windows and was literally up all day with my 6 months old baby because it was sorching inside. The owner came in the afternoon and did some servicing of the AC. So I was happy about that because we were so fatigued. I also didn't like the small tiny elevator 😕 to get to our floor, imagine inside that with suitcases. Two persons at a time max. The building was old-fashioned and a bit rundown. The decor inside was mediocre and needed some upkeeping, but nonetheless, it was great that the rooms had their own bathroom and fresh towels.

The owner, Alexander, was very thorough and responsive to our needs at day time. Don't let anything happen after hours, though. Secondly, I actually like that it was right in the city and convenient for quick errand runs and entertainment. Literally walking distance from Emancipation Park.

The air condition came off everytime you came out off the bedroom the door doesnt lock properly so the room could get cool enough. The kitchen was a furnace very hot. The front room was hot too even with kitchen window open and front room door it was still hot. The fan just blow hot air in the front room it needs ac in the front room. .There was no washing machind in the apartment. The front room had windows which went all the way down to the floor which did not close so any insect could crawl in. The kitchen windows had no grill.

Stairs and elevator not good. The outer property could do with a makeover. Wash area was awfully dirty. The washing machines and dryer were old and extremely dirty. Woman at the front desk was not very friendly.

The location was an asset. It was very close to all the amenities that I had to get to. Room and bathrooms were okay, they all had a/c. The kitchen was a blessing we were able to cook. Loved the view from the balcony. Loved that I could key myself in and no one else could get access to the apartment.

The only downside was, if you have a lot of luggage, you have to walk up the stairs to access the elevator to the floors above. However, once there it is worth it and would definitely stay there again.

The host Mark was wonderful, very helpful, was there on checkin and explained everything. Great safe easy access location with parking and a restaurant right next door. The accommodation was nice, clean and comfortable with adequate supplies.
