The breakfast was great and the staff ( Romaine and Roxanne ) were professional and awesome when providing top-quality service. I love that the vintage feel of the rooms brought back so many memories of living in Jamaica.

There is no elevator to the top floor in the main building and no one to assist with moving luggage. This was very hard for me especially since I am not suppose to lift more than 5 lbs. This was very painful when I was leaving especially with my suitcases. No one was there to assist and the grounds man simply walked away when I asked him to. The floors can be loud and some guest are raucous at night. The sounds transcend the room especially when they are right in the hallway. However since it was fleeting, it wasn't a big deal. The groundsman should wait till a reasonable hour to use the blower. He started this after 6 and this was very loud and continued for a good 10 minutes. I was awakened by this. This wasn't funny at all.

The Receptionist were extremely helpful. I had mosquitos in my room that were biting even though the ac was on. As I made this known, I was relocated the same night. As well I left a very valuable book as I was leaving the room and didnt know until I needed it the following day. The Receptionist called housekeeping who had it safely tucked away. It was delivered promptly! The kitchen staff made breakfast for me as I was leaving at 6, even though breakfast is served at 7. Extremely Excellent customer service! I awoke to the beautiful singing of the birds....awesome sauce!

the room and hotel needed a bit of TLC, the breakfast was restricted one visit only and choose between Jamaican or western breakfast it would have better delivered if we didn't see all that food . Also the service was inconsistent as the staff were delivering food to the the guests and meeting room demand didn't know about the pool repair until we got there

I didn't like the fact that I could hear the TV from upstairs in the evening. It seems as if a match was going on. I guess that would be ok for some but I had just traveled and was quite tired and wanted to take a nap.

My only moan is the pool was out of action due to maintenance, however you could use the pool across the road.

Staff were very courteous and kind. I would like to give special mention to Jermaine from reception who went above and beyond in helping us with our luggage yesterday. Also the two lovely ladies who served breakfast on the 22 February. Your beautiful personalities made us feel really special and I would like to thank you both. The room and bathroom were clean. The room was spacious with two double beds. You get complimentary water in the room. Breakfast was delicious and choices were good. There were a lot on offer for the cooked Jamaican breakfast which we opted for. There were also continental. These were served with a bowl of fruit and there were also fruit juices and coffee and tea. We did not eat an evening meal so can't comment. The hotel is located just across the street from Emancipation Park which is a beautiful park you can exercise or relax in. Lots of local transport passes outside the gates of the hotel. You can get private hire taxi or shared taxi with fares at $150 Jamaican dollars. The JUTC buses are even cheaper. Knutsford Express is a 10min or less walk. Lots of eateries around - restaurants and fast food outlets including KFC and Juici beef. When I next visit Jamaica and Kingston in particular, this is the place for me.

Breakfast was delicious and on time. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect as it is centred almost in the heart of New Kingston. There are security guards, so it's also quite safe. I will always choose the Liguanea Club whenever I'm in Kingston.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like.

The food is superb and the dining staff have excellent manners. And they are really pleasant. The room was comfortable and the foyer was very inviting. I literally fell asleep in one of the chairs - it was that inviting! I would definitely visit again.
