Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI didn't like that the room didn't have coffee or tea facilities, although I did note that this had been provided on request to another resident. Slight glitch with the air conditioning not working as expected. However, the staff were quick to suggest a repair may be necessary. The laundry service is 1JOD per item, which can be quite pricey for a full load of washing. I was, however, impressed with the fast service, and the clothes returned clean, dry, and very neatly folded.
I loved the Jordanian people. So friendly and welcoming, and helpful. The staff are kind and accommodating. The hotel is in a very vibrant location. The food in the hotels rooftop terrace restaurant is excellent and well presented. I was pleased to see that no alcohol is served on the premises. The weather was lovely around 30° in April. The Roman Theatre is almost adjacent to the hotel. With many shops and restaurants within metres of the hotel and stretching for a good distance. There is certainly plenty to do and see in Jordan, and a taxi ride is always nearby within seconds. I had a very interesting experience, having stayed in Jordan throughout Ramadan (around March). I have utmost respect for the locals, mostly Muslim, who pay tribute to the Lord our God, in this way, every year by fasting. Besides, it was good to burn off the Christmas turkey and lose those few extra pounds of weight gained over the festive.

JapanThe facility is pretty old, and the hotel is under renovation, so I requested for a renovated room, but I am afraid that my room was not a renovated one. TV was broken, so I requested the hotel to fix it, but it was not fixed finally. I stayed for three nights, and on the last day the hotel suffered from power outage from the evening, due to some accident, so not only light but also Wi-Fi, hot shower and elevator were not available all night until I checked out the hotel next day.
Friendly staffs. Good location in front of Roman Theater. Good view from my room and roof top restaurant. I think it is value for money if you do not expect so much. Water pressure of shower, hot shower and air-conditioner were all O.K.

United KingdomThere was no shower curtain, the water pressure was low with water either scolding hot or freezing. The rooms are dirty, you feel you come out of the shower dirtier than when you went in. I'm not convinced the floor had been hoovered from the people before. There was a TV but no remote or way to operate it. We had to ask for towels and they don't clean the rooms during your stay, but will give you more toilet roll and clean towels if you ask at reception. There is ridiculously loud music coming from the rooftop terrace early in the evenings. There are worse places to stay in Amman, but if I was going again I would pay more and get something decent.
The rooms are a decent size and the hotel is in a good location, right opposite the Roman forum. They do a decent breakfast, there is a nice rooftop cafe with excellent views. The price is also good.

Australia1. The bed was fine, but this is the first hotel I've stayed at where we had to do bedding ourselves? Why.... couldn't you just have housekeeping do it for your guests? 2. Hot water and pressure of the shower was weak. But at least it worked 3. The room itself was stayed at really needs a good clean or renovation. Seemed very run down.
Location was the main selling point for this hotel as is the price. If it weren't for these, might be a bit hard to recommend.
