Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

Everything was great!
All the staff were very helpful, friendly & accommodating, particularly the young man at reception. The location of the hotel was very close to the entrance of Petra. We were very pleased we chose Edom Hotel.

Television issues No English channels Breakfast could have more options
Location was good for Petra visit and the hotel was clean. We only stayed one night and arrived in time to sleep. We didn’t use other faculties as we weren’t there for long. The hotel was good value for money.

The place is absolutely in front of the Petra visitor center close to the road with restaurants and departmental stores Hotel is new and clean. Also features a nice swimming pool. The staff is brilliant from reception - Abdulrahman, Food and beverage - Eyad, service - Happy everyone is very helpful. For the price it is worth the stay. The hotel is neat and clean. I travelled with my six month daughter, the stay was a breeze.

Lack of information on check in from the man on reception. E.g. We weren’t informed there was a swimming pool - found out at breakfast on check out. Would have been nice to take a dip after a long day walking/hiking in Petra. He was not particularly helpful either, told us it was our fault for not asking.
Great location very close to Petra visitor centre. The rooms are a bit vintage but big and clean, and the bed comfortable. Good breakfast and the best was the restaurant manager who was amazing, super helpful, very kind and attentive.

the bathroom water would go hot and cold but not the biggest issue
it’s really close to the entrance of Petra you can walk there there’s restaurants near by as well the mini bar is complimentary and it has drinks like Coke sprite Fanta which was such a bonus especially after walking around Petra on a hot day

The location of the hotel was wonderful. The hotel is just 2 mins walk away from Petra entrance. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. Free parking just outside the front. Very kind staff, pleasant stay, good breakfast. I will definitely be staying here again.

Facilities are a bit vintage and carpet could be taken better care of, but this is a small detail that does not affect a nice stay.
Great location, just 3 min walking from the Petra Visitors Center to access the archeological site. Staff is very kind and helpful. Very good breakfast and nice swimming pool. Reasonable price.

very well located really at 5-10 minutes walking distance from Petra site entrance. rich breakfast and spacious room with all facilities. I would really like to thank Mr Khaled and his team, from the receptionists to the waiters serving the breakfast (I remember Aboud) for having treated my mum and I during our stay as "queens". They really helped us with all kind of needs and satisfied all our expectations. I would really recommend a stay in Edom hotel not only for the location but really for the people who work there as you will not be only a client but you would feel as part of a family. thanks again!

Everything was perfect
This hotel Is really close to Petra entrance, so it's perfect if you want to go at dawn. Breakfast Is really good. If you Need, they can make breakfast and lunch boxes for your full day in Petra! They have parking for the car, really safe. The manager Is really kind, as well as all the staff members.

It was nice, comfortable and like described in the hotel description. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also ok, and the restaurant staff friendly and ready to make some extras in the kitchen for us. It’s close to city center and to Petra main entrance. It was a really great place to stay.

Very convenient by all means, amazing price for the services, very clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Included Breakfast was great with variable options. The location is perfect, 2 minutes walking distance to the entrance of Petra and adjacent to different restaurants, close to transportation to Amman and wadi rum (JETT), and taxis.

The pool was a bit too cold for us .. but we still had a swim. Breakfast was good, I would just suggest to offer some bakery options.
The hotel is located at walking distance to Petra visitors center. Spacious rooms with small balcony, a small swimming pool perfect for a swim after long day visiting. The staff at front desk and breakfast were very helpful and willing to assist us anytime. We felt the hotel was a very good value for money if coming to Petra.

Located at the footsteps of Petra entrance, this hotel is really comfortable. My mum and I enjoyed our time which was enhanced by staff hospitality. Emad and his team were really friendly and professional.

The location of Edom is excellent. It's right near the entrance to Petra which makes it very convenient for early hikes. It is also located near restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was good, especially the omelets.
