Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyFood was not the best for the dinner and for me was very annoying that there was no water dispenser and the water bottle were extremely expensive. you receive a small bottle complementary in the room, that is not enough neither for cleaning the teeth. In general all the food, drink and rooms prices were overpriced in comparision with other 5 stars hotels/resorts in Jordan, even though the quality and the service was very good, they could reduce the prices for who stays longer time, if the resort was empty, maybe there is a reason.
Very nice the structure, clean adn well mantained. When we were there it was almost empty. very nice swimming pools and beach, with many fishes just in front of the beach snorkling. Very clean. Friendly personell. Private beach calm and enjoyable. Upgraded one room, very appreciated, with a nice balcony. Resort out of the city, perfect for enjoying the best of the red sea underwater. The brakfast was very good.

SpainRules about guests to the hotel are unreasonably strict, and the brother of my colleague (who was visiting in town at a different hotel) could not even come with us to get changed at the room, let aside access the beach. There should be some flexibility and understanding. The hotel rooms are getting a bit old for a 5* hotel. Refurbishment in the short/mid term will be required to bring back its former glory. It was very agreeable regardless.
Nice location, comfy beds, good breakfast and friendly staff.

MalaysiaThe flies in the restaurant was unbearable and the staff could not be bothered to do anything about it. Breakfast was average compared to the other hotels we stayed in during our trip to Jordan. The spa was closed and we had to go to the Movenpick to use their spa. There were guests smoking and drinking by the swimming pool where children were playing and the staff did not do anything about it
Large clean room with close proximity to the beach. Due to the quiet season, the swimming pools were pretty much empty with ample beach chairs available

JordanNot suitable for those with leg injury (too many stairs and long walking distances and gulf cars were only parked and not moving within facility) the food was not good specially the dinner buffet was bad and cold . The breakfast was fairly decent! They told me the room is renovated in a new building, but didn’t seem so at all! The bed pillows are not comfortable at all. The bathroom didn’t have a bidet or anything to wash after using toilet! The. Had to wait at the reception for 3 hours even though It was not crowded and informed them a few days before my arrival that I need the room early and that I have a small child with me .
All staff was amazing and improved my stay and rating for this hotel. Pools are clean and over all cleanness is very good. The view is amazing and the beach is so big. So many pools so it is never crowded. Our room had a very beautiful view .

Spacious, comfortable, really close to the diving center since diving was our main activity. The pools, staff, restaurants, and food were excellent and the price was reasonable.

ItalyWe had breakfast and dinner included, beverage excluded. It was a bit "annoying" the fact that during dinner we had to pay our beverage at the moment, meaning we had to take cash everytime with us. It could have been nicer to have it put it on our room bill and pay it at the checkout. Also the beach defenetly needs a deep cleaning, there were a lot cigarette butts and that's very . The rubbish bins could have been moved at the back of the beach insted of being in front of the sea entrance, they ruin the atmosphere. Also it should be nicer to have them emptied daily.
The resort offer you can expect form it. It's big but not to be overwhelming, it's quiet, have different pools for children, adults, families, the beach also is quiet there is a gangway to enter the sea to be more confortable, otherwise we suggest to use rock shoes. The food was delicious, with a variety of choices, some international (like pasta, salads) and local food, vegetables, meat and fish, every nigh was different. Also breakfast is very with readymade omelettes, pancakes, waffle, salty choices etc. There is always a vegetarion option. The pools are nice and quiet, as well as the beach, when we went there was the animation teams but is was not invasive for who didn't want to join it. After dinnere there were 2/3 different options for some night entertainment. The room was quiet, spacious and clean, every day there was fresh water provided. Staff speaks english and it is very kind. We went in november 2023 and please keep on visiting Jordan because it's safe and beautiful with amazing people!

CyprusI've paid for sea view apartment but I had no sea view in my bedroom because 1. Curtains were broken and impossible to open. They could not fix it so I took the curtains off, but: 2. Windows in our bedroom were very dirty, I've asked to clean it THREE times but they there unable to clean the windows because there was a mosquito net screwed from outside AND the window was broken at the same time and could not be open. Why would you have a mosquito net on a window that's impossible to open? I could unscrew mosquito net from the balcony or go complain 4th time but I've decided I don't want to waste my vacation on it. P.S. it's very difficult to find sunbeds after 8am
Very nice place, the pools are good, the master bedroom can be closed. The food was good and there is a nice area to walk around the block. We took breakfast&dinner, our only complaint on kitchen is there are only very sweet juice in the evening, would be nice to have tea or coffee (even Nescafe). I suppose they push you to buy their very bad wine for 10 euro per glass.

BelgiumWe had a very pleasant stay with our 2yr old daughter. Some of the reviews stated a lot of stairs and non-shaded swimming pools for the kids as negative points, but to us this isn't worth the remark. Yes there are stairs, but everything is easily accessible and there are many shaded places, especially all those shaded beds around the pools are a plus! Also the playing area for the kids was shaded. very nice to walk and dine around the small harbour, and perfect location for diving!

SwitzerlandFood was generally okish, nothing exceptional and the dessert buffet was a dissapointment. Pretty much all the desserts tasted bland and like eating paper. If your not looking for a culinary experience then its fine.
Great hotel right at the beach in Aqaba. We got a free room upgrade but unfortunatelly our sea view was a bit obstructed by a wall in front of our balcony (you could see over it though). The room was spacious, clean and the beds comfortable. Staff was really friendly. I did some diving with the deep blue diving center which is down by the beach but you can also ask the concierge to help organise things to do.
