Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

A place beyond imagination Guide Salman was waiting at the visitors point and he took us to the camp and he explained everything and gave us the room the room has a mountain view and is very clean We booked a jeep tour for 4 hours and the tour of the stars was amazing They took us to a Bedouin tent located in the beautiful desert of Rum and we also watched the Milky Way Thank you all, you are a Bedouin family that runs the camp wonderfully. Nice and friendly I would like to dedicate peace to Momen, the cute little boy. And to his family, thank you.

Costa RicaThe martian tent even with a window looking outside you couldn’t see that much, the reflection from the lights at night and the sun during the day made impossible to clearly look outside. I think the combination of the A/C and heat creates this effect to the window. Maybe cleaning them with something that prevents this could help.
The staff is superb!!! This is a family business, you truly feel they really care about you. They offer good options for tours and experiences around the desert. I highly recommend this place and negotiated one of the packages they offer beforehand, very good value for money, we did sunset jeep tour, start gazing and camel ride at sunrise and it was amazing!!!! Of course, don’t expect that the price you see on booking includes everything, none of the places you see online will include the tours and some are scams. The place itself and the food are excellent, clean, A/C works and comfortable. The host will pick you up at a safe parking lot in where you need to leave your car and take you to the place. We have a great time!

Hong KongI went in late May, and the tent is absolutely cooking during the day. The A/C will barely keep up; the machine is fine, it's the tent material just cannot keep the heat out. Cellular is like 1-bar if any, and the Wifi is only near office (out of reach of most dome tents) so don't rely on having good internet or at all. There's not much going on or facilities; you either sleep or do tours really -- something you should know. Breakfast is lackluster. Overall, manage expectations and you'll have a fine time. Many of the problem just comes with being so far out in remote desert with nothing but sky & rock around. Be ready to book tours to fill your time.
The value is really really great; I got a tent to myself for super low nightly rate. (The caveat is that the tours is what makes them money.) You have to pay $15 USD/nt for the dinner and there's not a lot of meat involved but you won't go to bed hungry at least with the portion of rice (which I love and quite frankly surprised to find in the middle of a desert). Hosts invited me to their residence first to sit down and drink tea and discuss plans before taking me in their 4x4 to the camp. Tries to sell you more tours but I respect the hustle and it's very gentle & friendly, not aggressive. The tent was very clean, and the location is very remote for better or worse. Please keep in mind: the people/hosts were awesome and hospitable. None of the negative points below reflect poorly on them in any ways. I just want to be objective and frank about the physical amenities and experience.

United StatesWhen we arrived, he gave us tea at his house, and then we went to the camp to see the tent. The tent is excellent and one of the best rooms I have ever lived in. In terms of capacity, cleanliness, excellent air conditioning, and a wonderful view. It is also quiet and has parking. The place is quiet, beautiful and safe. We booked a full day activity and it was amazing and wonderful rum desert magic . Thank you Rashid for this tour

SpainThe treatment of the staff was more than wonderful, from reception and guides. Everyone was of the highest morals. The rooms are clean and have all the necessary needs. Our guide, Rashid, was more than wonderful. We enjoyed a jeep safari trip and sand boarding. The Bedouin dinner of zarb cooked under the sand was the traditional dinner in Wadi Rum. I highly recommend this place because it exceeded expectations

PolandThis camp is one of the best, starting with its strategic location being close to the wadi rum visitors center. Rum Desert Magic Camp offered us an experience that will forever live in our hearts, from its extremely clean and well equipped cozy rooms to the heart warming and most generous staff. Rashid made sure that we were comfortable and taken care of whenever we needed, and his precious gesture deserves a raise! The food was absolutely delicious. The sun set can be seen either by climbing the mountains behind the camp or by going for a 5 minute walk near by. Would absolutely come back anytime we get a chance. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

FranceStayed here in a Martian Dome with my daughter for a night whilst travelling in Jordan in October 2023. What a wonderful experience this was. We were able to do a jeep ride at sunset and a camel ride at sunrise. We also visited the Stargazing Experience just near by. Stunning scenery and experiences we will never forget.

The property is in an amazing location in the desert. C We didn't know what to expect and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. The communication from the owners was excellent, transparent pricing on tours and any extras and flexible with our timing when we had to change our plans last minute. Rashed was, hands down, the best! Jack of all trades from host, to tea maker, expert tour guide and just an overall great host.

The host Rashid was exceptionally friendly and talked to all his guests to make sure they were happy. he We kept in touch before we arrived and then had someone pick us up from the campground parking lot. Rashid easily arranged a jeep tour and camel ride for us, then was generous with the fees as we had young children, and did not charge full price when he could have easily gotten it. Dinner was amazing. We don't eat meat but there is still great variety in food. I think it was probably the best Jordanian food we had while on vacation. After dinner everyone sat around him Fire, chat with Arabic music playing. The experience of staying there was amazing. the The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. the The dining area was very nice and comfortable.

SpainA/c didn’t work properly. The thing that I didn’t like was that the guide that wrote vía booking message that was “almost” compulsory to take an excursion, the message was: I can drive to the camp, which cost you 30JOD, but if you take an excursion 3h - 35jod, 4h - 45jod, 5h - 50jod and so on… the drive is free, but you take the excursion you’d like. when you decide which excursion to take, why don’t you take a longer one? Not really fair. We took the 4h excursion, and it was 3h excursion for real, he told us, I go slowly because we have lot of time, then…why did you want us to take a longer one if the 4h one was enough? Not really fair.
The staff is amazing! Waseb is the soul of the camp! The camp is quite new and the facilities are new, the room could be a bit cleaner but it was very nice! You feel relaxed and calm. The dinner was amazing, they cooked local food under the desert sand, and was really good! They offer different food options. After dinner tea around the fire. The views and the stay was amazing!
