Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

TurkeyIt is not that isolated from people. You can see 10-15 cars per hour in front of you and also the place wasn't in the Procted Area of Wadi Rum.
Breakfast and also the staff quality is amazing. The history of the place also good.

JordanThe large dome where the meals are served has too much echo, you hear people’s conversations from different directions.
The rooms are a good distance away from the main seating area, so when they have music on around the fire, you barely hear it in your room.

We stayed in the Martian Dome and the view was spectacular. Dinner was wonderful (albeit without wine- no alcohol served)- and breakfast was great too. Staff were great.

United States of AmericaNo Internet in room. Would be nice to have outdoor chairs on deck. View from inside the room somewhat marred by the plastic seam of the dome.
Gorgeous view and a unique experience to stay in a Martian type but at the edge of the desert.. The hospitality was good, food was delicious.

SingaporeOn our second night, a bus load of tourists arrived (which was good since tourism was hit badly due to regional conflicts); our new neighbours then proceeded to walk around our Martian tent with torchlights to check out the area late at night and shone lights into our tent. Not the hotel’s fault though other tourists had to be reminded of basic manners apparently. The reception could’ve been mended by a trained professional to handle transactions; we already paid before arriving and the message wasn’t passed onto the staff on duty. Finally, we booked a jeep & hiking tour without being informed of the price but turned out to be JD 91 for 5 hours (that we only paid when the night ended) & we were fortunately assigned a young & knowledgeable driver.
Restaurant manager who made sure we were satisfied with the food and service, warm hospitality, private bathroom, aircon (heating), quiet, calm, peaceful, and easy access to tours and activities. Room had a comfortable double bed with aircon (heating) in the cold winter nights. Our Martian some was east facing so we could catch a bit of the morning sunrise hidden behind a mountain!

United KingdomPerhaps a little pricey and worth only 1 night. Not too many activities to do. Wish we did a full day jeep tour but its so hot in the afternoons.
Great service and hosts were so friendly. Beautiful location. Fabulous tents. Felt otherworldly but I must say the tents are a bit of a fad, but we thoroughly enjoyed the fad.

I would definitely recommend this place to everyone and just hope to be back one day! Make sure you give it a full day, it is totally worth it! Thank you everyone for the wonderful memories!

AustraliaThe “superdome” for meals is great with its massive window overlooking the scenery, but because of its construction it can be quite noisy inside esp if you happen to have a big group in who feel the need to shout at each other across the room!
Well, location, location & location. Food was really excellent, & hospitality of staff second to none. Were excellent at sorting out activities for me & checking all was well.

United States of AmericaYou need to work on the smell in the rooms Our Martian dome wasn't clean - the armchairs were dirty, someone spilled cofee on them. The floor and the bathroom could be cleaner.
To be honest, this hotel looks better in the pictures. The smell in the room was not good, and bathroom facilities were outdated a little. We still had the most amazing time! Staff is great, people are very welcoming and nice! The food was awesome! Air baloon ride - unforgetable! Stargazing and Jeep Tours - very memorable!

United States of AmericaThe wifi could be better but then it makes sense when you are out in the desert to disconnect and enjoy nature plus the amazing views.
The view from the room at sunrise was outstanding and the food was great both at dinner and breakfast. The managers were hospitable and put a smile on everyone's face during dinner. The room almost felt like it is unreal. To be in the middle of the desert with a king size bed inside a conditioned room with an amazing view.

United KingdomNothing - everything was perfect
Everything! We stayed in a Martian tent and it was so beautiful being able to sit out on the terrace of our tent to watch the stars. The food at the buffet was incredible. I’m veggie and there was plenty for me to choose from. They cooked meat and rice underground in the traditional way and my partner said that was beautiful. We did a 4 hour sunset jeep your with Sammy and his son, which was such an amazing experience. He was a great guide and we loved hearing about his life. We also did a 1 hour camel ride which was fun - the jeep was better if you’re picking between the two. Would highly recommend!
