Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ThailandI was vegetarian and the only guest in the camp; thus, dinner options were limited and very basic. The mattress was too soft and perhaps needed replacement.
The camp's location is excellent with beautiful sunset view. It is small and quiet and is located deep into the Wadi Rum but with close proximity to interesting sites. Rooms and the dining hall were well designed with understanding of the needs of modern travelers while preserving the local touch. My room and the dining hall were very clean. Most importantly, Ahmad, the young Bedouin owner, was very helpful in communication and arranging activities at very reasonable prices. A full-day jeep tour and early morning hikes around the camp were superb!.

TurkeyEverything was perfect. You can prefer this property.
There has really perfect view. Selim and ahmad (who is the chef and stay in there) were so friendly. Although we had some bad luck, they were very helpful and nice. Especially Selim lit a fire for us and presented us with wonderful views during the jeep safari tours. Ahmad showed us how we can climb the top of the rock. We watched starts together.

United StatesA chair or two, and a table, would be a great addition to the very comfortable bed. We ended up "borrowing" those from the common area, but it was only possible because the camp was not fully occupied.
This is a magical place, in the middle of the desert, with a wonderful view towards the west (think sunsets). The personnel was very friendly and helpful. Our guide, Mahmoud, did a wonderful job showing us the numerous sights in the Wadi Rum desert (and dunes, rock formations, natural bridges, mushroom rocks, etc.). Mahmoud, who grew up in this desert, has an incredible knowledge of its topography, geology, as well as its flora and fauna. He is a gentle and kind person, genuinely interested in making one's visit to the desert the most memorable -- and comfortable -- experience. We felt very lucky to have him for the guide.

Saudi ArabiaThe location was great in the middle of the desert. Isolated from the world. It was "out of this world". The food was just amazing. The safari was really good. Our guide helped us take great pics and stopped at all the good spots where there were less tourists. The rooms were quiet spacious and clean. Great amenities

United KingdomWe came for the beduin experience but were dissapointed. We did not feel like the hosts were engaged at all and most of the time they were on their phones. In terms of the rooms, ours was definetly not clean and also did not include any of the items listed - no towels, loo roll or toiletries. After asking we were provided two small hand towels, one loor roll and a bottle of shampoo. The bathroom was really not clean, with marks all over and hair in the shower. The shower half ran cold for two minutes then the water stopped completely. You have to ask to have the power changed over to the generator if you need to use the aircon. The communal area was also not clean with spilt drinks collecting ants and used paper cups left around. As the jeep tours go from each camp, we decided it would be best to take the tour from the same camp. The price was 65 per person, versus 50 on the website and with no discount for being guests. I saw similar prices including the accomodation in other camps and they all do all the same spots. The tour guide was very nice but provided basic information. He did not speak much english, so we could not ask any questions. It was mostly being dropped somewhere, provided the name and then we were told to climb/walk somewhere for a view. Felt like it was quite dragged out, especially including the 2 hours for meal + sleeping midday. We found it overpriced. The problem is that the tour is your only option if you are going for 2 nights because you are quite isolated in the camp.
Amazing location which we were lucky to be very few guests during our stay. Private bathrooms and comfortable rooms with fans. We did not have to wait any time for the jeep to the accomodation. We enjoyed meeting the camels from the host.
