We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandTents doesn’t have working air condition, for us that wasn’t an issue as evenings and nights were cold enough, but in should be mentioned.
One of the best location in whole Wadi Rum, about 4PM it’s already in shade which is great considering hot temperatures on the desert. Very hospitable and helpful owner, his family and employee. We took jeep ride around the Wadi Rum which was great. You can explore a canyon next to the camp or nearby dunes. Meals were delicious and fresh, definitely recommend to take dinners and enjoy evenings in meeting tent. Taking into consideration that you staying in the desert, having warm water, electricity and even some WiFi it is a great place.

GermanyBreakfast was very basic - we missed fruit - a banana would have been enough. We would have liked more information at the Jeep and Camel tour. It seemed more like we are having a driver/ Camel caretaker but not a guide. We weren’t able to have a conversation with them during the tours due to language barriers - our questions could not be answered unfortunately. We heard that there were people that were enjoying Jeep tours with real Nomads that would teach you about the desert in good English. Next time we would prefer that to be honest.
Lovely place in the desert with only 8 Tents - we really enjoyed the privacy there. The tents are very cozy and we totally forgot that we were sleeping in a tent- felt more like a real room - and all clean. Great Beduine Dinner as well!

GreeceThe transport from and to Wadi Rum village has an additional cost of 20 JOD in total. As there is no other way for you to reach the camp, please consider it when booking. Apologies if it was mentioned during the booking process and we missed it.
Very nice experience in the middle of the desert. The camp was well organized and the location was great. The staff was friendly, kind and accommodating. We fully recommend this camp.

United KingdomWe had a great stay at Mirror camp, the view across the desert from our room was amazing. We stayed for two nights which was the perfect amount of time. The camp was a good balance of luxury and authenticity. Awwad and his team were very friendly and happy to share stories and knowledge about Wadi Rum. Would definitely recommend the full day jeep tour arranged through the camp - was the highlight of our trip and the best way to see the desert.

SpainGreat camp with amazing views and super comfortable. Tents are more like a nice hotel room, with a good bed and a full bathroom with hot water. Awwad was super helpful and easy to talk to. The jeep tour was really nice seeing some beautiful viewpoints. Dinner and breakfast were only really good. This is an awesome choice for a night in the desert.

United KingdomOur trip was too short. I'd have enjoyed another couple of days.
This camp is excellent. It's well inside the park which is important. A lot of the camps are outside in Rum itself or just inside the entrance. Awwad is an excellent host. He collected us as planned at the car park and arranged a sunset camel ride and two trips around the area to see the sights. We had breakfast lunch and dinner provided and it was all good. The tent was top quality with a glass window at the front and a fantastic view from the deck. The bathroom was great with a really good shower. It was also easy enough to hike out from the camp on our own and have a look around for a couple of hours. We saw camels and goats close up. All of the camps are extremely quiet at the moment. We were the only guests at Awwad's camp and a lot of other camps looked completely empty. We felt completely safe in Jordan despite the current turmoil elsewhere in the Middle East, so now is an ideal time to visit Wadi Rum if you'd like to avoid the usual crowds. I'd definitely recommend booking with Awwad if you do decide to visit.

UkraineThe camp is new, it was opened in April 2023. The owner cares about building the reputation of the camp. The atmosphere was very pleasant we felt like at home. The view from the tents is amazing, the front wall of the tent is a panoramic window, and in our opinion, it was even better than the popular "martian bubble tents". The camp is located inside the protected area exactly where it's shown on booking com and the most popular map service. It was a surprise to us, but many other camps indicate their location on booking com as if they were inside the protected area but in fact they are not. Camp provides jeep tours and dinner of good quality and at a reasonable price. Pay attention that there is no mobile network coverage in the camp. The nearest available network coverage is near the Wadi Rum village. Also at the time of our visit, there was no wifi, it was not listed in the available facilities, so that should be expected. That's a great opportunity to completely disconnect from the internet for a day or two.

Our experience at Mirror Camp was absolutely delightful. From the moment Awwad greeted us at the parking lot and led us on a captivating half-day Jeep tour, we knew we were in for something special. We arrived at the camp just before sunset, and were met with an awe-inspiring view that defied description. The camp is in such a remote location that you truly feel like you have been transported into another realm. Dinner at the camp was amazing, and our accommodation was modern, spacious, and immaculately clean. The bathroom was a particular highlight. Overall, our stay exceeded all expectations, and we would happily return!

Exceptional stay in the best camp in Wadi Rum. The camp is new and well organized. All the tents have a unique design and a spectacular desert view. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything you need. Very comfortable beds and it isn't cold at night (we went in February). Typical breakfast and dinner are hearty, delicious, and included in the price. Awwad and his staff are very kind and helpful. We highly recommend the tours with them (we did the one in a jeep). They last a whole day (from morning to sunset), including a detailed and multi-stage visit of the desert, and also a good lunch. We had a great time and highly recommend it!

United KingdomNothing to note. It was a quiet time when we went due to a lot of cancellations relating to the Israel conflict. As it was quieter, it was a nicer experience because of this. I can imagine that at peak tourist times there are many 4X4 vehicles driving around. Awwad may want to consider asking his guests if they prefer a quieter drive to different places or if they want to see the more popular sites with the caveat that there may also be more people. We loved Wadi Rum - it was the highlight of our tour in Jordan.
Just stayed 2 nights in this camp which was excellent. Tents were extremely comfortable, food lovely and the hospitality from Awwad was very genuine. The camp has 8 tents in total and Awwad is still working on a couple so it is more boutique and intimate compared to the larger camps. It is a new business opened in April and we recognised the time and effort that Awwad was taking. Communication with Awwad was quick and easy via WhatsApp. Also thanks to the chef, especially for the food he cooked in the ground for us one evening. Wadi Rum is beautiful and I would recommend staying 2 nights not just 1. We did the half day jeep tour and the full day jeep tour on the following day all to different places and covered a lot of areas. For anyone that is having second thoughts on travelling to Jordan during the Isreal conflict, be assured, it was totally safe.

NetherlandsWe took a half a day jeep desert tour on our first day and a full day tour on our second day. We felt this was a bit too much. We recommend arriving around 18:00 when you’re staying for 2 nights, so you can enjoy dinner at the camp and do a full day tour the next day.
Awwad is a very friendly host and easy to get in touch with. Pick-up from the village was well-arranged. The price was all-in (breakfast and dinner) which we really appreciated. The camp itself is very new and modern, hence quite comfortable. All tours can be arranged through Awwad as well.
