The response from their booking.com platform could be better, we have to drag our luggage in the snow from the bus terminal due to no response on whether there could be a shuttle bus bringing us over. Fortunately, there is a shuttle bus service to bring us back to the bus terminal when we leave.

Location is great with a beautiful view of Lake Akan right in front. Near to the various activities available in Lake Akan, unfortunately I was not able to book an activity with the operating partner due to limited slots. Love their onsen and buffet breakfasts/dinners. Special thanks to Mr Ichiro Terada for patiently helping me with my bookings for activities and shuttle bus requests. It helps a lot that he can communicate in English. Look forward to visit again.

The onsen is closed from 10am to 3pm. For the guests staying more than one day, it’s a bit frustrating. The dinner and breakfast hall is quite busy but well managed and organized.

The room is comfortable, modern, made with good taste. We enjoyed the smoothies at breakfast time. The view from the top floor is mind blowing. Very nice and professional staff.

I think I put on too much weight from eating too much.

Nothing I can think of. At high hours at night around dinner buffet is busy and morning hours. Personally can't think of a thing out of place.

It's a resort style hotel. Buffet for breakfast and dinners. Extensive selection of food. The staff was excellent and super helpful. The rooms facing the water were large and got great light and you would get a great breeze during the winter throughout the night. Onsen was beyond relaxing and beautiful and facilities inside the hotel were extensive from shopping to general snacks.

The buffet was rather chaotic. We have been to a few other large onsen hotels where they managed dinner entry times. This hotel did not. Food selection was decent.

The staff were kind and helpful. Room was spacious, bathroom was outdated but clean. However, you should go to the public bath (various baths and saunas).

Windows in the room were not cleaned. We did not get a place in the kaiseki restaurant, which you should book well in advance with your hotel booking. There is a big shop and a team that organises outdoor activities, but in two days we were not able to find anyone at the counter. Again, you should probably organise this in adavance.

Very nice onsen, one of the roof and one close to the lake. Very good buffet. There seem to be very few Westerners in this part of Japan but they took very well care of us and always found someone who we could talk to us in English.

Carpark was a little far away but the hotel are very frequent shuttle buses there so it’s not really an issue.

The breakfast and dinner buffets were absolutely fantastic. The freshness and quality of the sashimi was first rate. The first and eight floor onsen baths had wonderful views of Lake Akan and had many different types of pools eg whirlpool, jets etc

Nothing worth mentioning.

Everything!! We came with a rented car and location was perfect to explore the area (amazing and beautiful area). Parking is 600 meters from he hotel but they have a shuttle that runs whenever you need it. Nice room, great breakfast and dinner buffets, great service, nice access to the lake, reasonable cost, great indoor and out door nice public bath.

Car park was very far away, but the hotel provided a shuttle to connect to the car park.

Room was big, clean and comfortable. Buffet offered an impressive spread of Japanese, Chinese and Western dishes. Love the wagyu! Onsen comes with a variety of hot and cold pools. The hotel has a nice courtyard with great views of the lake. It is located next to the Ainu Kotan, a local village with lots of beautiful handicraft.

The air conditioning system are too hot for us. We were sweating while eating in buffet. If you need to check-in at a peak period, there may not have enough potters to help bringing luggage. Car park is quite remote.

Hot Spring in 1/F really lovely and in traditional style. The rooftop Hot spring with good starry sky at nighttime and wide blue sky in daytime. The Wing’s Hot spring is like a hotel clubhouse, modern design, clean and neat. We were just on time to see the Winter’s fireworks at the courtyard and it’s really fulfilling to watch. The staff will provide warm coat and slippers for guests which is a very warm experience.
