Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe requested early check in as arrived from UK at 8am. We eventually got our room at 5.30 pm. After persistent requests we were given a temporary “disabled” room at 4.30 pm and our original booking with Club lounge access was declined but then reinstated. Following this everything was fine but not the ideal first day welcome.
Comfortable junior suite. Access to club lounge with healthy breakfast and excellent service. Location of hotel.

United KingdomThe bathroom was a little tired. Also, like every other hotel, the default is for extremely soft, uncomfortable pillows.
The whole hotel was super clean, the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent.

SwitzerlandSolid hotel, stayed here last time in 2018 and the hotel is still great. The "old" rooms are now slightly dated, but perfectly OK, clean and comfortable, and we had a note in the room that an "intensive renovation program of rooms" is under way. The beds are comfortable and the rooms have a very good size, especially for Japanese/Tokyo standards. The rooms (I guess all?) have a Nespresso coffee machine. The location is really convenient, there is usually no shortage of taxis (exception: New Years eve and New Years day as well as probably other holidays, but that is to be expected) and the Ginza Line metro Station Tameike-Sanno (No. G-06) is right outside the hotel. The Ginza line is one of the most important Metro lines (and probably the only one you really need as tourist) as it goes to Shibuya or Ginza as well as to Shimbashi and all the way to Asakusa, with many interchange options in between. Around the hotel you have various convenience stores (2 family marts, 1 Natural Lawson, 1 "normal" Lawson a bit further and 1 24h small supermarket) in walking distance (2-5 mins) as well as a dutour coffee place right next to the hotel. The staff, especially front desk and concierge, speaks very good English. As we had some issues (not related to the hotel) we needed the concierge frequently and the personnel there was always very helpful, professional and went out of their way to assist us. We also had some interactions with the bell captain for taxis etc. and they were also helpful and especially the younger personnel spoke good English. The hotel restaurants during our stay were fully geared towards New Year with special menus but we did not try them. In the room we found he information that on 31.12. evening you can order the noodle dish "toshi koshi soba", which are believed to bring good luck for the new year, for a reasonable price to your room. The noodles were good and came with a tasty broth and some nice tempura.

MexicoI guess it’s a cultural thing, but in my opinion the rooms are very small considering that we requested for twin beds. Additionally, we had a superior room in the 33rd floor part of ambassador club and the room was exactly the same size as the twin beds. Also the curtains and carpets make it look older that it is.
Very nice hotel. The breakfast and lunch buffet were amazing. Friendly staff.

KazakhstanThe facilities and fixtures in the rooms are a little dated. This is a moot comment, though, as we were informed that the hotel is undertaking a considerable overall of its fixtures and fittings to modernise and update its room, befitting a state-of-the-art luxury hotel.
The spacious rooms and the hotel's excellent location made the last leg of our holiday even more unforgettable. The cheery was that the express bus service (airport limousine) to the airport departed directly from the hotel.

United KingdomYou cant get a drink in the evening particularly at the weekend past 8.00pm. When checking in we felt like second class citizens for using Booking.com and had to be very politely insistent on a double bed. As a result the check in process took over 30 mins.
Nice hotel with large rooms particularly by Tokyo standards with an excellent breakfast. Very close to the Metro and in walking distance of Akasaka and Roppongi both full of good restaurants and bars
