The lobby and breakfast smelt of cigarettes and smoke coming from the smoking room. Breakfast was a little expensive for what you got and lots of one use plastic items ( not very sustainable )

The onsen ( public bath ) on the roof was great. The location was also very good.

Breakfast didn't match the one in other APA Hotels even though being at the same price. Not enough choice, bread was finished, had to ask for milk and sugar because they were finished and not replenished but the worst part it was served all in plastic dishes which is extremely anti ecological and something that should not exist in 2024.

Room was good size with comfy beds and a small table and chairs to sit. This was a bonus when compared to our previous stay at aAPA hotel. The free spa room was a fabulous bonus we didn’t expect.

Parking capabilities were a little bit lacking in my opinion. I’m glad that there’s a local garage near the attached hotel garage that you can use if your car doesnt meet hotel garage requirements, but the need buy a parking voucher from the hotel counter, then to move and re-park your car at the end of your voucher time and go back to the counter to buy another ticket is a little bit annoying if you’re staying for several days.

I was there during the 1/1 earthquake and I found the staff and hotel response very commendable. Information was regularly conveyed through the announcement system. Only a few messages were given in both English and Japanese however so if I only spoke English I would have probably been a bit more worried. Overall amenities were good- hotel breakfast was as well.

Lack of car park space and security to protect customer's interest. Was cheated by a unknown uniform employee to park at another car park which is quite far and was told hotel will pay for it. End up got to pay ¥1600 whereby it actually cost ¥500 for 24hours parking at right behind of hotel. One male staff at hotel counter was rude and the only answer given by him is NOTHING!!

I didn't really mind the size of the room as a single traveller, but if you were staying with two people or had a lot of luggage it might be a bit uncomfortable.

Fantastic! Bed was very comfortable and room came with an excellent range of amenities. Really enjoyed the buffet breakfast.

Since I was a solo traveler, it wasn’t a big deal, but a couple would have a very difficult time in the room I had. It was tiny. However, it’s a hotel used by many Japanese businessmen, so the small size isn’t surprising. I moved the luggage rack to the tiny space by the end of the bed so I could get through the little hallway.

The elevators are a bit small and there are not enough of them. So there are times when you cannot get on and you have to call for another one and hope for the best.

It's far from the train station but easy to get to by bus. Going by bus is much easier if you do not have a big suitcase. Once you get to the hotel it is easy to walk to the garden and the castle from the hotel. The rooftop onsen is pleasant. The gifts of Kanazawa curry and bottled water were appreciated.

Parking wasn`t available at the hotel itself. Instead I was directed to park at a nearby garage and then buy a parking voucher for either 16 or 24 hours from the front desk. It would have been nice not to have to take my car out, drive around the block, then park again just to get another voucher but overall it wasn`t really a hassle.

Very good location, surrounded by lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping areas, walkable to Kanazawa Castle, Kenrokuen, 21st Century Museum, and many other famous Kanazawa tourist spots.

The man who helped me checked in was disappointing and useless. I think he was a trainee. It took a lot of time for him to do everything. He didn’t even know how to charge credit cards.

The hotel has a great location but the car parking is very expensive - you can find much cheaper car parking just behind the hotel in the private car parks (half the price of the hotel carpark). The recpetion staff spoke excellent English and was very helpful. The room was very small but the bed was comfy. I had chosen this hotel due to the rooftop onsen but this was much, much smaller than the pictures on the hotel website and did not have the views it promised, so I felt a little bit misled and dissapointed. Otherwise, it was a usual APA standard and I had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was in the small 'restaurant' in the lobby - the food was food was good but there were very limited seats and it was not relaxing to eat with everyone coming and going through the lobby.

The breakfast was fine, but it was the same thing for two days. The room was a little small but that's okay for me.

Location is good, in the downtown area close to the castle and garden. Room had all the amenities and staff were very helpful in answering my questions. They held my luggage for me, and the public bath and outdoor bath were very good.

Really not much, only maybe that before the check-in day, it would have been nice to get an online answer to my questions. But at the end everything was fine.

I stayed 2 weeks and got to choose what kind of room I liked, the room was perfectly what I needed. I loved the onsen on the top floor. The location was right in the middle of all the places I had to be for work, which was extra convenient. On my check-out day, the staff even helped me to send a package. I will be back for sure. Thank you.

Our twin room was small. After laying down luggages, there weren’t much room to move around in the room.

The hotel is located at a great place with many options for meals. We walked to all primary sightseeing locations from the hotel.
